I used to recommend the office over every vet in wilkes Surry and Yadkin , but not anymore. Dr.holt I would recommend for large animals only. My dog had been poisoned yesterday and I made a call to Dr. Holts office. The receptionist was very kind and gave me advice because I thought my dog was having a siezure. She was very kind and I done exactly what she had told me , but she said if she has a seizure for more than ten plus minutes then I will need to take the dog to winston because they were short staffed at their office? I had my friend pick me up and luckily he knew a vet located in yadkinville passed baits tire called harmony heights. Otw there we went passed Dr Holts office and they had no cars there only the doctors vehicles parked in the back. When I got to harmony heights I brought my little dog in and as I started to cry I told the. Please help me my dog is having a seizure and I don't know what to do for her. They quickly put my information in the computer and before I could sit down to wait a nurse called me back to a room. And they done great fast and saved my little girl

Doc, Dr Grubbs and all the staff are the best around. you won't find another vet that lives on the animals like they do. Best bet around.

We're from out of town and our cat was extremely ill. Someone recommended Dr. Holt & we saw him for an emergency visit. He took time out of his day & saved our cat's life!!! He's very knowledgeable, kind & has very fair prices. We are forever grateful to him for taking AMAZING care of our cat. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Dr Holke is absolutely great with a great skillset for treating our special needs cats. Both of which benefit from his services. And he has always gone over the line to make sure they get great care. For the years that we have used this facility, we have been very happy with the staff that works here. Always nice, friendly and professional in every way. But as the saying goes "everything changes" The recent addition of a staff member has given me reason to wonder. She is neither nice nor friendly and as a matter of fact she is somewhat downright hostile in interactions with me. While I have only dealt with her 5 times, it has made me want to deal with the other staff. Since in a business such as this first interactions in a visit can map how the visit's experience will go, a business must be attentive of how customer facing staff interact with businesses. One person can sour the whole interaction between customer and business. For this reason i have decreased the star rating. Not because the Vet is any less capable, but because it is the business's responsibility to monitor their staff interactions to insure things go well.

Dog is sick and been calling all day and no answer. Her to go to another vet will never be doing back to this vet again this is the second time this has happened in the past year.

Dr.Holt at Yadkin Vet. Hospital has been my Vet for over 25 yrs. He has always shown so much concern for each of my pets as if they were his own. Bonus points go to Dr. Holt for the compassion hes always extended to me. I highly recommend Dr. Holt for ALL of your large or small animal needs. Thank you Dr. Holt.

Doctor Holt is great veterinarian, if he wasn't he not been in business for 40 year's, great home town service, don't get no better.
