Formerly did business with Diversified Energy, Sharp Energy thinks because they bought out a propane company, they can use prior contract language when it's convenient (like fees to remove the tank) but ignore key items in the prior contract (minimum annual propane use to avoid rental fees) when it isn't convenient. Also, $0 service order tickets they say are free the day of, they bill you almost $200 for a month later. Don't care about their customers.

This company is really hard to contact. When you finally talk with someone the customer service representative is very rude. If I had another option I would not use this company. If I do not use enough propane in a year I am charged a fee. If I don't use it at all I am charged more. It is all a bit much and the utilities commission really needs to put a stop the extra fees.

I want to give a big shout out and a thank you to the young lady I talked with today, I called at 10am and asked if they could come out and refill our tank, I knew that it may not be today but she immediately said yes let me call the driver, we are super busy but he can fit u in. True to her word he,aas here at 3pm. Thank u sooo much again

If there was a zero rating here I would choose that. Horrible customer no service. Would not recommend at all. Scott is the worst and when I tried to let corporate know of my experience the VP was no better. Can't wait to use up the propane so we can get them to pick up their tank and switch to AmeriGas.

Make sure you call weeks in advance before you’re too low on gas. It’ll take you a while to get in touch with someone, as they hardly pick up their phones and they hardly, if ever, return phone calls.Additionally, I would encourage you to *only* use them for propane. Do not buy gas logs, open burners, etc from them. I was promised one thing, got another. Years later, I’m still fighting them on the subject. “Well did you get it in writing?” Is their only response to their negligence.Unless you have hours of time fo waste, go somewhere else.

These guys are horrible at customer service. They will expect everything done on your end in a fast, professional manner. But, when it comes time for them to keep their end of the bargain, they immediately state how many days legally they have to fulfill a service. In my case, it was 30 days. Not acceptable I had to leave entry to my fenced back yard for 30 days without them giving me an idea when the driver would come. All this, with a customer service lady who certainly expressed hers/their entitled attitude. I will not do business with them ever again. Too many gas companies out there for that.

We have since terminated ties with diversified for many reasons. The customer service rep at the youngsville office has a terrible attitude. We were forced to communicate with the corporate office in Boone. We went without heat for 5 days back when the temperature was in the teens. This is one of many horror stories in dealing with diversified. We now patronize a reliable heating and oil company.
