If I could give 0 stars I would to the Dollar General in Zebulon on Hwy Nc-231. I called 3 times to ask a simple question and each time someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up. I think it's horrible business and just plain ignorant as well!!!!

I went to go rent the rug doctor. I waited in line of like 8 people, then when I got to the front he said he didn’t know how to do it and to find Simone. I looked everywhere inside and out for “Simone” but never found her. I went back to him and asked what she looked like and he said “I dont know I’m busy” and I’m like you don’t know what she looks like? And he says “no sorry.” Inexcusable and I wasted about 45 mins of my time there.

Tried telling an employee that parking in the middle of the handicap spot is wrong and makes it harder for people that need to park there get out. Did not listen and tried to argue back that he was in the right that he can park there.

I tried to check out for a item but it was 3 dollars more then what the app scanned the price to be. I was told by a employee that the priced scanned on the app was the corporation price and not the stores price. Safe to say, I did not get the items and will not be purchasing over priced items.
Also, the inventory for this location (on the app) is not current for the items on the shelves. (For multiple items)!!

If I could give a zero star I would. The "manager" Kati Bernal is super rude always sitting down on her cell phone ignoring customers and getting an attitude when she actually has to help a customer. I live maybe .5 miles from this location and refuse to go in this store. I used to stop by multiple times throughout the week as it is convenient and has most of what I need. But due to the employees nasty attitudes I choose not to. Not to mention you never really know who is supposed to be behind the counter because the "managers" wear whatever they choose. This store used to be amazing. The change in management over time has definitely caused this location to suffer.

As a former employee there. The manager there was so disrespectful and half of the employees there was horrible. As soon as i walked thought the door they all stopped working to talk. I could work with at least two of the people that worked there. The others were just terrible. They will work you to death if you give it your all. One of the night managers was alway on their phone on Netflix and or FaceTime and go sit in the break room and not help.. didn’t even train me right. I basically trained myself in the cleaning and putting stuff back. The customers were great and I loved all the locals. They go though people like crazy honestly. Worked there 3 months and it felt like I wasn’t wanted.

I’m always amazed at what they have in stock here. It seems every time I go I find what I need and the store is neat and clean with friendly employees.

The store hours in this establishment says 8am-10pm every day. Well tonight I went to the store and the employee was letting some customers out and locked the door behind them. It was 9:30pm. I have have been there before at 9:45pm and it’s still open. So if the time has changed please update the information so that we don’t have t to o go through this . If that’s not the case then please have the employees do their jobs correctly. If they do not want to we irk there then found some that do.

I used to like this store. I am so disappointed in it now. The store is junky. Shelves are half empty. The people working here yesterday didn't even care to help me. They were standing in front of the self serve checkout and no one at a cash register. I pushed toward thru to the self serve and they finally stepped out of the way and continued talking to one another as if wasn't there they never offered to check me out until I found out the self serve was broke. One of them checked me out and didn't even spin my bags around. I had to spin the thing around to get my bag. This site might as well close. It's terrible now.
