I used to enjoy going here and seeing the friendly employees. They were friendly, down to earth. Just ordinary hard working folks. Things have changed in the last few months. I even used to enjoy the music. Things have changed. The evening of 2/21, around 7pm I went in. I was greeted by hearing a radio station that was saying how everything economically wrong and everything else wrong in the country was the white man's fault. I was appalled. The medicine lane was fully blocked by full loads of items to be stocked. Funny, it's the flu season. I'm white. I normally go in to buy meds or something else on a late night run. No more. I was appalled.

Customer service was horrible lady at the cash register did not even say a word to me was talking to the other employee. The entire time didn’t even hand me a receipt didn’t give me a bag nothing.

Unfortunately, lately the store has been understaffed, self checkout has been offline for weeks and several of the refrigerators have been taped off because they are out of order. This is our go to store usually but it's not been as pleasant an experience as before. The sel check out would be so helpful!!! Please do some maintenance.

I came exactly at 9:50 pm and they refused to let me in even though it says it was open, Dollar general closes at 10pm not 9:50pm it was a old white lady she looks around 50-60 years old she looks like the manager and she told us it was closed.

Half and half with the service. Typical dollar general with only two employees To seen and a store filled with more unopened boxes and then stocked merch. I needed help finding two different things (because of course nothing can be easily found in a DG ever) and the first employee I asked was really friendly and helpful, when I needed help a second time I couldn’t find him so went I ask cashier for help, an older lady this time. I only needed to be pointed to the right aisle/end cap and waited to ask where what I needed was when there was a pause in the conversation between her and a customer at the register. Instead of just telling me where to go, which took all of five seconds, she gave me a nasty attitude about being with another customer and to wait until she was done. Then she apologized to the OTHER customer despite their interaction being done anyways except for handing off a receipt - instead of apologizing to me for being extremely rude when I hadn’t been anything but polite she. Speaking to her even after the way she spoke to me. I even apologized twice despite having nothing to say sorry for. I get it, understaffed and overworked but don’t take that out on the customers - especially the ones being polite.

The place was a DISASTER!!! Boxes in the isle and the merchandise was so unorganized!! Won't be going there again!!!

At this particular DG is very convient bc I live 3 mins away. Organization and store kept good. Staff there needs a class where they train you with manners and etiquette. Other than that. DG is awesome‼️

Dollar General is a great store to buy many food products that you can find in popular larger stores, but for less money. You can even find some name brand products for less.
