“We were in North Dakota to pick up my father-in-laws truck and boat/trailer after his death. We were all hooked up and ready to start the trip back to North Carolina- NO LIGHTS on the trailer!!! We called and explained the situation to Casey, he told us to come right away. He fixed the wiring housing on the truck, then went ahead and switched out the trailer lights (that we had with us to replace when we got home). We left with everything working properly to safely get us on the road. We are extremely happy with service provided!”
“The door on our Forest River 179db Platinum shifted out of the frame. We literally could not close the door, had just started our 9 day trip and were almost 600 miles from home.
We extended our stay at Buffalo Gap State Campground near Theodore Roosevelt National Park to try to get the issue resolved.
We took the door off the hinges and drove 40 miles to Dickenson, ND and found Kuntz RV.
Right from the start, Willy and Florence were so very willing to help us.
Willy just so happened to have everything we needed and we decided that braces were the answer. He cut the three braces to size, measured them precisely so that they would look good, and drilled the braces onto the metal frame.
Florence added the finishing touch to the door by adding black stripping onto the braces.
The price they charged for their parts and labor were more than fair and we were able to continue on....if the door closed.
Willy did such a good job that the door fit perfectly and we were on our way to finish up our trip.

“5 stars hands down. The team at Schmidt Transmission went above and beyond to help us get back on the road so fast it was almost unbelievable. Our truck broke down midway through our trip from Wisconsin to Montana, lucky for us it happened in Dickinson and Schmidt Transmission was recommended to us as the top local option. They did a full rebuild in half of a day with less than their full staff to get us back on track. The level of service was outstanding... they were helping us after closing hours, they had what we needed in stock, and one of their crew even drove us to a hotel so we didn't have to Uber. Highly recommend!”

We took it over to joes and they fixed everything that was wrongly replaced and more! We’ve come back to joes a few times since and they’re seriously just the kindest folks. They text us about work that needs to be done and we can easily just text back yes or no. We’re leaving town soon, and I wish we could pack up Joes and take them with us!!”
