The people are really nice. Their mobile banking could use some improvement, but I can see that will take time and only if others feel they need more features. I'd like to see them have more electronic agreements, rather than all the bill pay being done by check. And I like to initiate external transfers to my bank accounts with other banks. I suppose the managers here think that every customer has all their accounts here, and they may be right. I think some of the people, though not all, speak up a bit in the branch, as if they are 20 feet away, when you are a foot from them. Then, when you call, on the phone, you ask them to speak up and turn your phone's volume up all the way, and the women felt a strong need to whisper. I think the logical set of deductions they used to set voice volume might be reversed. I've mentioned to people in other places, that their voice is loud, before, and the conversation doesn't end with me making a new friend. You'd think it would. I've even tried being more subtle. Were you raised on a farm? Do you have deaf relatives? Did you serve our country, overseas? Were you in the artillery unit? What do you think of the price for tickets at rock concerts? How about little placards in front of the teller window that read 'if you have hearing damage, just ask me to speak up.' Then, just assume that everyone else can hear you and you can talk, rather than saying everything with emphasis. HOW ARE YOU DOING, TODAY? fine, I have excellent hearing. GOOD, I CAN HELP YOU, OVER HERE! YOU ARE MAKING A DEPOSIT. I'm right here. I don't own a car. They let me walk up to their ATM and didn't give me any funny looks or anything. This small town mentality, I can get used to it.
