Two of the Salvation Army’s core values are to uplift and be compassionate. The staff of this store reflects the exact opposite of what those values represent. Treating others with respect should go with out saying but instead they have chosen to let their biases shine through and be rude. I recommend that district and regional managers take a look at their resources and consider investing some of them into re-training their staff members. I will never be returning to this location or any location ever again. If you have donations or need some items for your home, I recommend taking the extra few minutes and going to GoodWill instead.

Their customer service is not good. The guy working the counter was not knowledgeable and had no care to try and find the answers to my questions.

Unfortunately me and my daughter had a very negative experience at this thrift store today. We were going down one of the clothing aisles, me pushing my 1 year old daughter in the shopping cart. My daughter likes to run her hand across clothing when we walk by it, I normally catch her and move the cart over far enough that she can’t reach. As I was looking at an item I heard the cashier (her name is Melanie, shorter in height, short hair, mid to late 50’s) say in a sharp/loud tone to my daughter “don’t pull on those tags!” (Referring to the price tag on the clothing). I whipped around and look at my daughter and the employee, I take my daughters hand and say “no touch,” and moved her to a different aisle. The look on my daughters face was pure shock/fear. A one year old child being verbally scolded by a store employee is NOT okay. She had no idea what she was doing. If she would have taken the tag off? I would have brought it and the item with me when I checked out so it could’ve been reapplied. Needless to say, we checked out very soon after the scolding. I did speak to Melanie at checkout, since her exchange with my 1 year old bothered me deeply. I told her in a calm manner, “hey, please don’t ever get after my daughter again, she is only one years old.” Her reply was (in a less than nice voice, quite hostile honestly), “well, I didn’t want her to rip the tag off.” My response: “than you you could have said to me, ma’am, I think your daughter is going to rip that tag off. If you would have said it to me instead of getting after her I would’ve apologized for my daughter’s misbehavior and made sure she didn’t get the chance to rip the tag off. It is never okay to yell at little children.” I got ZERO response after that. Honestly, my daughter deserved an apology, or some acknowledgment that this woman understood that she needs to handle situations like this differently. I really enjoy this thrift store, but under the circumstances? We will not be returning.

Prices I feel are out of line for a lot of what they have. Wasn’t a very friendly environment.

It's Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 530pm. We tried walking in since maps says the store closes at 6pm, and the lady immediately turned around an screamed "WE'RE ALREADY CLOSED" turned around and ignored me. At first I thought it was a joke but she never turned back around and the other man trying to come in just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. So we turned around and left. Very bad attitude from the lady.

Quaint and lots to explore! I found this gem on my way to a big box store to pick up a few non-essential items that I needed. I found what I was looking for at a much lower price! SCORE!

I have LOVED thrift stores sense I was a little girl. And they always have lots of things to look at. Found some really nice stuff here. Some times the prices can be a little much for a thrift store but other then that great place.
