I stopped in here, to ask to use the restroom and they said it was for customers only. Now, this bank has branches in real small towns, so you'd expect them to care about people, more than profits and to extend a little courtesy to them. And if they refused, you'd think, I wonder what sort of strong reason they would have for denying a passerby their restroom. Was there consistent vandalism? Did they try asking for ID and writing down their full name and driver's license no., before letting non-customers use it and even that failed? I would have been okay with that. It would have only taken 30 seconds.I came away with the impression that this bank doesn't really care about people, but cares only about profits. Just like in the past I've gone into banks and the account managers have all been warm and friendly and treated me like a human being when I made my first deposit. Then, when I return to use the tellers, they look at me with this strange, cold, bloodless facial expression, as if I was a relative who had stayed on their couch for a week and they were trying to figure out how to get rid of me. I haven't seen this happen here, just at banks around town, so much, that it has become normal for me to expect it.So, the bank wants to bring the warm, welcoming spirit of small town America to the big city, that other big banks can't provide? The personal experience where they learn our names and treat us like family? I just wasn't seeing it on my visit. Maybe, you will feel differently and your post will read like a Norman Rockwell painting. What are your expectations when you are a non-customer? Should banks be exclusive, like a country club? Non-customers sometimes want to get rolls of dimes or quarters and their own bank isn't always nearby. If I became a customer, which is what they want, I suspect that they wouldn't be judging me and treating me based on my bank balance, but based on my appearance and the amount of credit products I have with them, such as home mortgages and credit cards. They don't make all that much money off of depositers and usually, we are as much of a nuisance as non-customers.Anyway, happy banking!

Horrible experience, after banking with them for over 3 years! They themselves the bank accidentally deposited $100 in to my account but waited a whole month and then took it out of my account without saying anything. I called to try and fix it and they were rude telling me there was nothing i could do no one to talk to and that even if it was there fault I had to pay. I had the money to pay it but i was just upset because I am very low on funds this month and now my account is overdrawn. I got transferred over to Jenifer who then accused me of lying and telling me i deposited the money myself and that “facts are facts”. If I had deposited the money why would you remove it from my account ? Nothing makes sense and I am definitely closing my account there. This isnt the first time I have had a problem with them, when I have gone in to cash my checks they have also tried to say they were fake and threatening me about what would happen if it didn't go through. It was my paycheck but because my boss isn't American i got dirty looks and treated badly. Take this how you want I guess but I am done banking with them.

I think UV Bank is a great bank. I dealt with Robin for my mortgage, and while she was able to make it work where others weren't, she was a little hard to get a hold of at times. She was very nice and really knew her stuff. We had some issues with documents not being sent, but it did not turn out to be an issue in our case. It was communicated to her directly some other things I expected to be better about this process, so hopefully it changes for the better and others have a wonderful experience. Overall, we got the house we wanted and in the end that's all that matters.
