Made reservations in 2024 for 3 days, I had to cancel. I canceled a week ahead of time, my credit card was still charged. Still arguing to try to get our money back!!! Worse place ever, horrible business tactics. People should be ashamed!!!!!!!

This is a small town with limited resources so I am basing my review on my experience with other small town hotels. We’ve stayed here a few times and our room has been clean, nice and at a decent price. The staff is limited but have been responsive when needed. I feel comfortable staying here and would again.

Worst place to stay EVER! The carpet in our room clearly was not vacuumed and there were hairs on the shower wall. If that wasn't bad enough, I woke up to a BED BUG crawling across my face! When I asked the manager to come look at it. She sent her live on site cleaning lady who said "it looks like one of those bugs that flies at night." No, sorry lady. This is definitely a blood sucking parasite. We striped the beds and flipped mattresses. That was the only one we found. But we left that morning. I had booked the room for three days for an event. We stayed one horrible night and left at 630am. Now the manager is refusing to refund my money and is blocking all my calls.

Place has ok rooms hopefully yours doesnt get double booked, they tend to do that. Expect your room key to work every other day if your lucky. They will say you deactivated it 🤔😤. Joke of a place.

I have stayed in thousands of motels/hotels over 40 years and this one is probably the worst. I waited for an hour to check in as their staff had apparently walked off. I called all of the numbers on the lobby window multiple times just to get answering machines that said that they would try to get back to me in a day. No one on site that day. No one on site the next day. I finally got ahold of a lady in Chicago that said that "these things happen". There was no sympathy on her part whatsoever. 110 dollars a night for nothing. No refunds. When I walked into the motel, there were a group of construction guys all smoking pot by the entry. FYI - not legal in ND... Garbage by the entries and see the parking lot condition. I was here around 2000 and it was a nice, well-kept Super 8 where we had meetings. These folks have destroyed it and its reputation. I would never consider staying here again. It is the only motel in Lisbon, which is very unfortunate.

Stayed one night at this motel and it was by far THE WORST lodging experience! Garbage cans overflowing in the breakfast room, unsealed drinkware in room, dirty shower stall, grimy microwave, TV, and door handles. It was absolutely disgusting. Only one employee on-site until 6 pm, no manager, owners live in Chicago. Got locked out of our room - hotel has no emergency backup plan; staff had to call the police to break in.
NOTE: take a closer look at 5-star reviews. The majority are from accounts based in Chicago. Coincidence?

If I could rate a ZERO - it would be too high!
I can also confirm - DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL!!
We also just left from a family wedding weekend and this is by far the most miserable hotel I've ever experienced. No staff available during our entire stay - only for the 15 minutes at check-in. Our party of 5 traveling from out of town and overseas had confirmed all reservations by phone in advance (with someone who did not speak native English). Only to then arrive and learn that the room booked for a 92 old disabled family member was on the 2nd floor, with no elevator. The room for another family member was not reserved, despite being confirmed by phone and our credit card charged. The rooms were unclean, to the point we had to purchase cleaning supplies at the nearby gas station to clean the bathrooms! Trash was overflowing. The so called "continental breakfast" was not included - joke (pic attached of the fine selection at 8:00 am). Leaving the choice of gas station gruel or Subway in this area - delicious! To top it off, the price of these rooms are a complete rip off for this location (big city prices of $200+). Needless to say, we have requested a full refund for our regretable stay.

DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL!!
We just left from a family wedding weekend and the incompetence of this ownership/management group is unbelievable. From last minute changes to their cancellation policy, to lost reservations, to overbooking, refusing to refund an additional night a guest did not request, not to mention unaccomodating disabled guests. No matter how hard you try, you can NOT get ahold of a staff member. One guest tried to call them for an entire week before their stay and ask for a change and noone ever answered or returned her call.
They promised continental breakfast to a fully booked motel. We were all disappointed to find this meant a few hard boiled eggs and oatmeal packets which caused most to scramble and find other options in town (Gas station sandwiches or Subway are only options).
Motel is not kept up-thick dust and grime on many surfaces, dollar store 4th of july decor still hung up in September, room keys not working... so much more we could add that made a family wedding weekend unnecessarily stressful. One family had to drive back to Minneapolis right after the wedding dinner because they didn't have a house keeping staff member to clean an available room!
By the way, they give you 10% off your next stay if you write a review. Don't bother to send me that coupon. We will NEVER be back. Unless they get rid of their current ownership/management group (which we found out is based out of Chicago), I'd recommend you stay away as well! Unbelievable.

I was in for a business trip and this was the perfect place to stay for a weekend! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well put together. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!
