“My German Shepherd ruptured her eye and it had to be removed. My dog is very aggressive, but the Johnson Vet team handled her with great care and professionalism.
They saw her immediately even though we had never been in. They gave easy to follow instructions and checked to make sure she was doing Okay. They made sure she had pills for pain and that she did not suffer.
We were in the middle of a move they referred us to a great vet to have the stitches removed at our new location. They even gave us few tranquilizers to make the move easier for her.
My dog is doing great thanks to the expert care she received. They have very reasonable prices and care about the animals in their care. I would recommend them highly.
I have had dogs all of my life and many vets. Johnsons is one of the best clinics I have ever used. They will always be in my contact List in case I am in the area and need their help. I have not given this honor to anyone before, that is how much they impressed me. They deserve 10 stars.

“I cannot say enough positive things about this animal hospital! After taking our malamute all over town and being disappointed and frustrated with the care he was receiving we found heart river animal hospital (this was 11 years ago). Our first vet at heart river was Dr. Espe (she has now retired) but I remember loving our first experience with her. The entire staff has always been wonderful to my family and our dog.

Since Dr. Espe’s retirement we have been seeing Dr. Uran and wow is she INCREDIBLE at her career! Like you know when you can just tell someone is living in their purpose. She has always been so thorough during our visits to make sure my dog is getting absolutely everything he needs taken care of. Her bed side manner with the dogs and the owners is wonderful! It makes my heart so happy that we have a vet that truly wants to solve the problem our dog is experiencing and not just find a temporary fix. She has wonderful attention to detail and goes back in my dogs records to make sure any medications aren’t something that will cause him any issues if he has had issues previously.

Thank you to the entire staff over the last 11 years I have always been impressed with everyone from phone calls to in person care our community is blessed to have you here to help care for our pets that are really our family. ❤️

“My neighbor and I brought her rather large husky into the vet for his yearly check up… And she just happened to ask if they would be able/willing to do his nails and trim up his backside. They did not hesitate for a second! She told them that if you just shave his backside or touch his paws he freaks out, and becomes VERY tough to handle!!They even offered to do his nails!! They seemed excited… silly vets…

I do say, I admire the willingness to put their lives in danger like that! I was going to miss them when Koda sat on them.

So when they started grooming him and doing his nails, there were some primal howls of discontent screaming for his mother and then all of a sudden we saw two girls running towards the battle. And a yell from the vet and 2 more came charging in! Then 2 more running down the hall…. I’m pretty sure the secretary even jumped in to lend a hand!! I was extremely impressed by their professionalism as well as their bedside manner. I will not take my dog anywhere else from now on!!”
