Maple River Golf Club is a very nice public course with a beautiful, welcoming small-town feel. The course is very well kept with nice fast greens, though some greens were in great shape while others were in really rough shape. It features skinny, tree-lined fairways that require straight tee shots, along with plenty of hazards and greens that have a lot of undulation. The pace of play has been noted as good by some, but others report consistent issues with groups getting stacked up. Tee times can be very hard for the public to get due to many tournaments. It is considered a good value, with a round and cart costing 57 dollars on a Saturday morning.
My buddies and I love Maple River GC. Such a gem that’s so close to Fargo. The course is beautiful and challenging but incredibly fun and reasonably priced. Everyone at the course from pro-shop attendants, maintenance, bar tenders, beverage cart, etc are all just awesome people. Highly recommend!!!

I was thoroughly impressed with this gem! The course was in beautiful condition despite the lack of rain… It wasn’t too difficult but definitely challenged all sections of your golf game.

Nice but hard to get a tee time because they have a tournament every other day. They also don’t really enforce slow play, So you’ll probably be out there for a while.
