I've been getting my cars serviced at Harley's for 33 years. Best place in Minot to get oil changes, brakes or anything that arises with my vehicles that I have no idea about. I'm never overcharged. I trust them with my vehicles. I have nothing bad to say about this business.

Harleys is a great place to go for your car needs. The Gas station is also a good store and their employees are so nice!!!

By far best mechanic shop i had to deal with they call to give up dates and get your car done in a timely manner. Last shop i went with had my vehicle for 3 months no updates. I got a call within 2 days of you guys having my ride with a update. You guys have fixed plenty of my families vehicles ill stand by harleys all day everyday. Big mistake thinking the dealership would fix jt the right way to. Harleys shop will fix it the right way the first time.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now for various car services and I’ve never had a bad experience. The employees are respectful and kind. They do quick work and are reasonably priced. If there is ever an issue/discrepancy the workers will always try to make it right.

After using them many times, I’ll be looking for a new shop due to their unprofessional manager and questionable business.
Update: The Summary of the following story is, avoid Harley’s automotive at all costs.
I wasn’t going to post this part as I like to give companies the benefit of the doubt. Maybe my experience was just a one off. But after talking to multiple other folk’s, I’ve learned that they were also scammed by Harley’s Automotive so I felt the need to warn others. I used to do all my own work on my cars, and I think it’s time I start doing that again after learning how many people were scammed by Harley’s.
Long story short: Harley charged me $500+, claiming I needed to have something fixed on my car that was actually fine, even after I told them what was wrong with it (a $25 part needed to be replaced, but they claimed it was working just fine).
After “doing the work” and taking my $500 the car still wasn’t fixed when I got it back. I got in an argument with the manager, and asked them to look at the car again. They insisted it wasn’t their problem or fault, and I insisted they look anyways. I brought it in, the manager said they “found the problem” ( it was the $25 part I told them to originally look at) and then told me they fixed it. He then proceeded to ban me from the store for accusing them of not fixing my car.
When I picked up my car, amazingly, it still wasn’t fixed. I was fed up, and a couple weeks later decided to just look up a YouTube video, and replaced the part myself for under $30 including parts and materials. Lo and behold, the car worked now and it was the part I asked them to look at all along.
Talking to coworkers and friends, I’ve since learned this has happened to almost all of them as well. Harley’s charges them hundreds or thousands of dollars to fix something that isn’t wrong. Or they charge them to fix something and then the problem isn’t fixed at all or it returns a short while later.
Listening to each persons story, it’s clear it isn’t just simple mistakes either that we all make when working on cars. It’s Very deliberate, sometimes expensive items that are very apparent when they do or don’t work that even early career mechanics would recognize is broken. So I’m led to conclude that there is at least some level of deliberate scamming.
After many years of all of us using Harley’s, we’ve all decided to go to new mechanics (or start doing the work ourselves). I would avoid them at all costs.

If you want your tires seized on and have to get your tire studs drilled out, go to Harleys. If you want them to scratch and damage parts on your vehicle and them not pay for it, go to Harleys. If you want a cry baby manager and poor customer service, go to Harleys. I'll never step foot near that place again! I'd recommend everyone else to do the same.

Not really much to say. Place is average and the shop connected to it is kind of pricey versus other places.

Quote was $150 less than what I was eventually was charged. Also, took 3 days longer than it should due to them not having the part ready despite 2-week lead time. Part was not ordered until after I dropped off the car.
