I had car reserved from 24 July to 25 July . I went to national to pick the car and also to put my corporate number in, which I wasn't able to when I booked. I found out instead of one way my car needs to be returned back to the same location. Then I asked the front desk lady to extend my reservation so I can drive back the car. She refused to do so and told me she has right to refuse service. She said she is afraid that I will not return the car back. She is not going to give me the car I booked just because she thinks I will not return back. Have I done it before no. Just because she think: Now I am thinking why does she think that way is it because I look different or it's just situation.I asked her for her name she said she doesn't need to give me her name. I asked for corporate number one which she replied you can get online. I asked for supervisor, she said they don't have one. And I can call corporate and complain.

I wish I could make it zero starsThis may not be a great comparison as I have never rented before but in my opinion this was definitely the single most horrible car rental experience.The employees were either unprofessional and downright rude or ignorant.I had one question on their rates and despite repeating the question multiple times I never received a straight answer.When I turned the car back into a different employee I was treated with a nasty attitude. Would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Be warned!

Car was not clean, soda exploded under front seat when the temp dropped. front fender falling off, unsafe shaking in the back end of the car. I informed the "manager" and she dismissed the concerns and sent the car back out the next day. No one at the desk from 10am until after 12 when the flight left so could not even address in person. Beware, this is NOT a corporate location and corporate office cannot assist with issues...this is Independently owned.

Called the airport number for hertz 15 min before i was supposed to pick up my rental .. no answer .. showed up and waited another 20 no ones was there … hour later still no answer or No one here an hour after my rental starts

Terrible vehicle conditions; unsafe for the roads to be honest. Car was filled with dirt; trash; and even water INSIDE the vehicle upon receipt. Returned it on time; yet they tried to charge an extra hour for my rental. Upon showing my Travelocity email confirming the time; charge was reversed the next day. DO NOT rent with them; no care for the safety of their renters; that’s a scary thought.

Terrible experience, I made a reservation specifically noting I was under 25 (because normally there’s a fee for that) and was told after I arrived at the airport they don’t rent to people under 25. I had my reservation for nearly a month and was never reached out to or notified of this. Not only that but the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Left me stranded me in the middle of ND without any transportation and literally walked back into the office before I could even say anything

Thanks Hertz for leaving me stranded at the airport when my flight was delayed. I get that it was after your hours of operation but some type of contact ahead of time would have been the proper thing to do. Apparently having a reservation with you means nothing.

Old owner is a grouchy old man and has no respect for his customers. He refused to give me a rental after I had already reserved one and tried 2 different DEBIT cards (they only take credit cards). I only needed it for 1 day. Go to AVIS they have great customer service

Super polite! They called ahead to make sure everything was ready when we got there. Took good care of us when we got there and turned in. Car did smell like heavy smoke and there was some trash in it, but nothing else major.

Hertz staff at the Minot Airport location were excellent to deal with. I rented a vehicle to go between Minot, Airport and Williston, ND. Checking out the vehicle went real smooth and took less than 10 minutes. Car was in good condition and working order. I checked it back in about 3 hours after renting it to the Hertz at Williston Airport. Had to use the key drop at the Williston location because their staff was absent during business hours. Williston's staff screwed up on the car check in, the result was I was double billed. Minot's staff were very helpful and able to get it corrected.
