“My room was very comfortable and homey. The room amenities were very thoughtful for what one might need at a surprisingly affordable rate. I was very impressed and felt very safe and comfortable And had the best nights sleep in a long time! Which was a surprise since I typically don’t sleep well anywhere but home. This is my new favorite hotel.”
“We stayed here on a cross country trip from MN en route to Banff, AB. We left late and Minot was a good stopping point.
TL;DR: clean, friendly and quiet with a par breakfast and helpful staff. Family of six? Aces.
Pros: we came in at about 0100 and we were exhausted. The front desk was empty and the front doors are keycard controlled. I was ready to be irritated, but I picked up the phone on the table and immediately got through to night staff, who came running and attended to all that we needed. I had to come down twice after this for forgotten toiletries and extra bedding for the pullout couch; he was nothing but professional - much appreciated.
Room was 100% as expected. 2 queen beds and a pullout in the usual conformation. Bathroom was clean.
Finally: hats off to the chain for eliminating single serve condiments and reducing their environmental footprint. So too their gym (which was adequate and expected - we did not use the pool): no single serve cups for water - BYO bottle. Nice.
Neither pro nor con: the breakfast was as expected. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, bagels, yogurt and juices, coffee. I know that 100% of this stuff is prefab out of the freezer at every major hotel chain now, but it was a bit unappetizing watching the staff squeeze frozen gravy out of a two-gallon bag and into a chafing dish. But the coffee was hot, the yogurts were well-refrigerated, and I knew what we were expecting.
Con: Only thing that bothered us was a half-assed wallpaper repair in our room, see image. This was a minor point and I’d rather that than gritty carpet (carpet was clean), so I’ll take it.
Overall we were satisfied enough that we booked it for the return trip back home later that week. Even though we changed our return route and cancelled it, it made enough of an impression that we booked the same hotel in Bismarck.”

“The room was spacious and clean, very happy it came with kitchen and dishwasher etc.It would be even better if they have laundry in the room since they have plugin for laundry machine but somehow the machine is not provided... staff were extremely friendly. I would stay here again if I ever visit this city again!”

-edit—the way my card was charged challenged my mental stability! Hard to expense this stay due to them splitting the charges all strange. Not to mention they charged my card like 5 different times for separated out for a 7 night stay”

“Pretty neat little spot. Some things are a little dated, but beds are far more comfortable than the last hotel I stayed at, the king suite has a kitchenette. And there are courtesy laundry facilities.
Also, nobody else probably cares about this, but, they have an oatmeal bar as part of their breakfast and I'm here for it! Coolest thing I've seen at a hotel.”
“Don and I stayed here for a few months while he was working on a job in Minot. Staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and had great amenities like a coin-operated guest laundry and vehicle plugins and a wonderful lounge to relax in after work. Very much worth the money!”
“Not a fancy new hotel. Updates are not of this year. Room is nice. Pool is nice. Meeting room is fine. Some paint peeling but there's a lot of humidity in pool so whatever. Also they let dogs stay so they will get my business again if needed.”

“Had our son's birthday party there. Seating is upstairs and it is super humid/hot! No ventilation, but the kids had fun. Thats all that mattered. We had an ice cream cake and they let us put the remaining in their freezer so it would not melt. Very accommodating!”
“Personnel had excellent, helpful attitude for all 3 days. The condition of the room, the lowest price option, was very good even though it is showing its age. The desk chair was above comfortable yet it had a small surface hole in the seat. For the price it was an excellent value for the bed and luxury level sheets, large mini-fridge, high quality bathroom inclusive of the shower and sink, TV, and desk. The breakfast area is very good. The breakfast food was ok for a very solid variety of basics (cereal, choice of flavored oatmeal, muffins, juice, other fruit, coffee, scrambled, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bread and english muffins to toast, make-your-waffles). The exercise and weight room is a very high quality facility. The atriumlounge and the rooms are decorated in a tasteful, ambitiously high class yet low key style. Lots of very positive attention to detail.”

“This is my second stay at the Hampton Inn in Minot in the past three months, and I can confidently say this will remain my go-to hotel whenever I visit the area. The consistency in quality and service has been excellent both times.
The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day of travel. The complimentary breakfast is fresh and satisfying, offering a good variety of options to start the day right. I also really appreciate the gym and pool area—both are well-kept and provide a nice way to unwind or get in a quick workout.
Overall, the Hampton Inn in Minot checks all the boxes for a reliable, pleasant stay. Highly recommended!”
