Ok to start this off bought a 2016 yukon 115,000 torque converter in trany imploded on 3rd day I owned itDon Lafontaine aka store Manger slash azz hat has quite possibly the worst customer service and people skills I have ever seen in my life that guy is not qualified to be a door greeter at Walmart had it not been for Anthony and the owner of ideal I would have been stuck with this pile instead they (aka) owners and Anthony went above and beyond to make it right and got me into a great newer 2016 escalade top marks Anthony and owners now do your company a great service by putting Don Lafontaine back in the back washing cars so he can't make u guys look like a shoddy car lot as for the rest of the sales team thank you for making it a great experience the second time around

Josh was awesome! Drove all the way from Minneapolis, and the whole team made sure I was taken care of. The car was clean and the purchase process was smooth! He sent videos and pointed out all minor cosmetic damages like any nicks or scratches up front. This led to no shady surprises upon arrival (like other small dealerships can have). Ideal auto is the real deal!

This place was amazing! AJ was my salesman and I couldn't have asked for a better salesman honestly! He was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process of getting my car and he was just professional all the way through! Everyone else here was amazing and professional as well and treated you like family. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a car! They’ll make sure you're taken care of! :)

Had the pleasure of working with AJ and let me tell you. This has been one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever had when buying a vehicle. AJ took the time to help us get our new to us RAM truck! And made sure we were going to be happy with it. The atmosphere in that dealership is like no other! Everyone is laidback and it felt like the only goal was to make sure you were happy with your purchase instead of just making a deal! We definitely will send family and friends in the future 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Just purchased a vehicle from here and it was a great experience. AJ was our salesman and from start to finish he did an amazing job. We traded in our vehicle and they offered a fair price off the bat, no back and forth haggling. The whole office was friendly and welcoming, even as my two toddlers ran wild. Absolutely recommend Ideal Auto if you don’t want to worry about the “used car experience”

Recently purchased a vehicle from salesman Josh Seaburg. Let me tell you, he is the man. I have purchased 9 vehicles from dealerships in the last 10 years and this guy is by far the most personable and honest salesman I have ever dealt with. He went to great lengths over the course of 3 days to find me the perfect vehicle for my needs. I couldn't say enough good things about this dude. Ideal auto has come a long way with there attentiveness to detail and working for the customer to get exactly what they want and need out of a vehicle purchase. Now that I've got Josh's number, he is stuck with me as a customer as long as I have any vehicle needs.

Ideal Auto was great to work with! We found what we wanted online and drove 2 hours to Minot to test drive. They worked quickly and very effectively to help us do what we needed to get the vehicle. Tony was exceptional and very accommodating to all our questions and needs. He was very transparent in communicating between us and the bank.I very much appreciated his honesty and his patience working with us. Mike was funny and took some of the stress off of signing papers and getting it done quickly and answering all the questions. We will definitely do business here again in the future.

AJ was an awesome salesman. He was easy to work with and even went out of his way to meet me along the way since I live in western North Dakota. I have had the vehicle for a few days and so far it is great. I had a very good experience and would go back again.

Management refused to honor my request for holding the vehicle so I could travel the 3.5 hours to get there. Prior appointment for vehicle was from in town and was over 4 hours late. Despite them saying they'd hold it if the guy missed his first appointment, they still gave this person priority. No apologies, no reaction other than basically "man, that sucks to be you" sort of attitude.The initial contact with Matt was great. Everyone besides him sucked. It was nice to know that the frustration was not just mine.

If you’re thinking of buying a vehicle from them, DONT! Save your money and time and go elsewhere. Called and they disclosed the vehicle as is. They said the front end suspension needed work, they sent me a purchase agreement to send to my bank but said the truck would still be listed for sale and if it sells before I could get there I’m out of luck. Getting to the dealer, the truck was tucked away in back and was beyond filthy, even though the pictures were spotless. Looked like someone drove it through a field before I test drove it. The windshield was completely shot with cracks and chips all over. That was not disclosed or in any of the pictures. They wanted me to come back to get the vehicle or drive back to minot to get the windshield replaced, even tho when I originally called they said the truck was ready to go and take home that day. It was just over E for fuel, I asked them to fill it, get the windshield it writing that they would pay to have it fixed and wash it, as any good car dealer would do if they are selling/showing a vehicle. They agreed but after coming back to sign paperwork, they tried to up charge the purchase price from the purchase agreement they and myself sent to my bank. They didn’t fill it with fuel, after asking them about it, they told me it’s sold as is, and since that wasn’t in writing they won’t fill it and I didn’t have proof of that being discussed. After getting my windshield replaced, they tried to get out of paying for the fix even though I had documentation of them agreeing to pay. After a half hour of being on the phone getting transferred back and forth they finally paid. Moral of the story is DONT BUY FROM THEM. Biggest waste of my time, I would have rather spent more money else where for the same vehicle than buy from them. Every dealer I’ve bought from would have never conducted business anywhere near how they did.

AJ was my salesman. Very pleasant interaction and a no pressure sale. Did alot of the work over the phone so it was a very easy completion at the dealership. A great car, from a great dealership and a great bunch of people to work with to get it done. Drove back to Williston with zero issues. Would definitely buy from them again.

Matt was great my husband said. He was dealing on a truck. Offered a price and wanted the air shocks were bad. Manager said take it as it is. Next day my husband took it to mechanic as the manager told him to. $800 min. To fix. When he brought it back the manager sold it out from under us. I can bet the buyer was not told about bad air shocks as they didn't know it, my husband told them. Bad way to do business. We r looking for a 2nd vehicle, used. Won't by from Ideal as rude and shady manager. Matt, find a new company to work for!

If I could give double negative I would. Bought a car in Feb been in the shop more then I've driven it. I had 1600 miles since I got it, today dropped 2000 plus what the warranty included on service. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GET YOUR OWN INSPECTION!!

If I could I would give a negative rating. I bought a 2010 maxima from **** at ideal auto in ***** **, February 14th. Since then it has been in the service department to have things fixed. I haven't even put **** miles on the vehicle. I just got a call from the service department and it will cost me $1500 out of pocket and thankfully I did purchase the warranty which is covering some. I would recommend staying away from ideal ************** told me it came out with excellent inspection. Was in the shop 5 days later. I understand it is used but be honest with your customers. They ***************** anything they can from you! DO NOT RECOMMEND, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
