Mac's Hardware is a well-kept establishment where customers can find everything they could ever want under one roof. The store is always stocked and clean, providing an enjoyable shopping experience. It is filled with hardware and tools, featuring a vast array of products including actual spades, odds and ends, gizmos and gadgets, and plentiful government surplus items in the past. Many note it has literally everything other stores don’t have. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable from the moment customers walk in. Employees are customer service driven, able to answer questions and help find items, often providing useful tips. They are extremely helpful but not pushy, contributing to a nice, little country store vibe. Quality product and service like this is hard to come by these days. While some note prices may have crept up, it remains a first-rate hardware and tool store with good prices without being a big box store. It is considered one of the best hardware stores in the city, highly recommended for most everything hardware-related.
