This quilt shop is located in a residential area south of Minot - look for the lighted "OPEN" sign in the window. The shop is built on to the owner's house; she's been in business 20+ years. It's a pleasant space, featuring many lines and styles of fabrics including traditional, modern, flannel, and batik. The owner also does long-arm quilting. It's the only quilt shop I've seen that has a fire blazing in the fireplace! Wonderfully cozy on a winter's day.

This shop is located in a residential area, and is well worth the effort to find (look for the lighted OPEN sign in the window at this address). The owner has a large selection of fabric lines in a range of styles: traditional, modern, batik, as well as patterns and notions. It's the first quilt shop I've seen with a fireplace! She's been in business for 20+ years and had an addition built on to her home to house the shop. I enjoyed chatting with her, admiring her samples, and her wares.

Minot Prairie Quilt Guild is made up of women dedicated to keeping the art of quilting alive while educating others about it. The best part of this group is their generosity...each year members donate countless hours working on numerous community service projects and typically donate the equivalent of over $20,000 to the community annually!

I Love the Minot Prairie Quilt Guild! I belonged a while back, then had to go back to work and now I am back at Quilt Guild. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome back last fall. Looking forward to new adventures with old friends and some brand new friends as well.
