I have worked at the Natural Health Shoppe and I’m a customer. Minot is lucky to have a shop with the variety the NHS has and it’s a great thing to be able to go in and have such knowledgeable people working there. I’d recommend it to anyone!

This business is beyond exceptional. The employees are all so caring, passionate abut their jobs, and truly care about each and everyone of the customers that walk through the door. The owner herself is included in all of these. Stormy's vast knowledge of each and every product she sells is amazing. She is simply an amazing, kind and caring person. I recommend this business to anyone looking a way to better their health.

I worked here in a part time capacity from 2014-2017 and then 2019- 2022. My main issue is with how the business is run And the owner Stormy. I will try to keep this as concise as possible.As far as what the business stands for and the fellow co-workers, I loved Working here as it is in line with my passion, Which is to live a healthy life and to help others achieve a healthy Lifestyle. Deb and Jared are wonderful people to work with and good friends of mine.That being said, The owner is very misandrist (man hater) and was difficult to be around. She gossips about customers and other coworkers , very nasty behavior and very childish. If you believe differently than her, whether politically, spiritually, diet-arily (I made this up), she will get upset. Fortunately I mainly worked early Afternoon to closing shifts. I would occasionally work One shift where I would see The owner for a few hours. I really did not like how she treated us employees. She also gave her family 50% discounts on everything in the store, but The employees only got 25% discount. Sure you can do what you want as the owner but Don't forget who's actually making the business Succeed.When I returned to the health shop in 2019 I was visiting as a customer. The owner approached me and asked me if I would be a backup employee, Since I had a lot Of experience operating the shop and was dependable. She offered me The employee discount To serve purely as a backup. And I was not on the schedule regularly. I thought that sounded fare so I accepted. Over the next few months, I worked only a few shifts helping out here and there. Then around March of 2020 COVID hit. All of the employees except for Tracy Weren't working and I was asked If I could assist. I had recently Left An accounting internship and I decided that I could help out a lot more After I was asked By the owner. Tracy and I both worked every aspect of the shop for close to 2 months. Just us, too, taking care of all customers all stalking. All ordering. Everything. The business would have definitely taken a massive hit had the 2 of us not stepped up.Once things started to Settle down a little bit During summer time, the other employees came back to work and I went back to being a backup again. About Two months later Stormy tells me that it's unfair that I'm a backup and Getting the employee discount and that I would need to work at least one or two shifts a week. I loved working here so I agreed. Overtime I had to pair down on working here so I eventually whittled down to only 6 hours per week. Then I could only do four hours. Then eventually I really couldn't work here regularly. And I told stormy that I would need to go on a Is buy weekly basis or that I could not be on the schedule at all And would return to being a backup. She told me that if I did this it would affect my employee discount. So I told her that Original agreement was that i'd be a backup. To which she responded that she did not remember. Conveniently of course. I know she's not stupid.I told her that I was not going to work at all if my employee discount was going to be affected. So this is why I quit working at the shop In 2022. It took me a while to realize that there is a toxic environment here that is mainly the owner. She has talked badly about every person who has ever worked at the shop. She always finds something to complain about And she rarely works. She is fortunate to have The business because it is a niche market and does very well. It could do better but she is too concerned about the bottom line to see the opportunity in front of her.Zach

When I go to a nutrition or health shop, I sure as hell don't want the person that's waiting on me to be blowing their nose, then wiping their nose with their hand, and then handling my vitamins that I'm trying to purchase so I don't get sick. Absolutely disgusting. Wash your freaking hands!!

Could not return a product that my daughter picked out for me. My daughter is not a label reader. I asked for organic. Product is not non-gmo and contains magnesium stearate. States citrinin free, meaning no more than 1 ppm detectable.Called asking to return the product. Guy states that it is organic even though it does not say that. Not allowed to return it. If we have label laws how can you be told it's organic when there is nothing on the label and it includes the stuff stated above. I live in low income and need this product recommended by my Dr.
