Good ice cream and good service. This location is only open during the summer. The owner employs high school and college kids to help them build job skills, so keep that in mind. They do a reasonable job and put out good ice cream. My wife and I go occasionally.

At 1:30 pm (lunch time) there were no workers to be found. No sign saying they were closed, or that they'd be back. The lights were on, as if they were open. A UPS worker told us they must be on lunch, but there was nothing to indicate where the workers were.

Terrible Service. No greeting, no smile. Busy giggling with coworker. No name tag. Handed me my change on top of my cash in a dumping motion. Never going back.

The phrases, "Dad can I have five dollars for the arcade? " and "Orange Julius at Dakota Square," pretty much sums up my pre-teen years. One sip and I'm transported back to 1982. I was at my local mall in the Twin Cities a few weeks ago and my son was whining about wanting to go to Orange Julius. One of the other customers at the store, a woman about my age, got this look of pure nostalgia and was like, "ohhh, that sounds so good!" I bet if I would have one on me, I could have sold her a Ms. Pac Man machine as well.
