I can confirm that it is not an ideal stop for truck drivers, especially near the border, not a driver-friendly place. Shower availability is a Major issue — wait times can be several hours — and the customer service leaves much to be desired. Overall busy location,not okay for truckers and their service is poor.

Went to get propane tanks filled as this gas station can fill them not exchange them. As i approach the counter the employee is on their phone texting. I made the request and was told we can’t fill them in the rain. I said it’s not raining anymore.(i waited to come over until it was done raining.) i reaffirmed that it’s literally not raining. The cashier again stated we can’t fill in the rain. I left the store, this appeared to be in ear of the manager standing a few feet away.

I had a 10 hour stay there and I waited 5 hours just for a shower and they never get cleaned. I asked the cashier for assistance and he said he didn’t have time for it and that no one ever cleans it and this is a recurring problem happens all the time

I Need to pay cash for shower even if I have 10 free showers, they don’t even try to help you . Guy watching movie on phone and is not interested…. Bad spot for truck drivers …

This truck stop is busy with mostly Canadian trucks due to its location.
Many times I have experienced the staff shortage issue in this store.
Once their whole hot food area/subway was closed due to the staff shortage.
I always try to avoid a shower at this location due to the unavailable clean showers, again due to their staff shortage. However, during my last visit, I had to spend some extra time at this location and decided to take the shower. They were again short of staff and it took very long to get a shower. Shower booking doesn't work on the app at this location. It always shows 83 people waiting in front as per the attached screenshot. Pumps are OK and the parking spaces are reasonable.

There online shower booking is not working. After that i went to cashier. All of there showers were empty but they made me still wait for 45 minutes without any reason.

Horrible. Cashier was sleeping. Didn't cash me out. Made me self check out. Had additude. Went to grab stuff behind counter, asked if I worked there ( doing all her work kinds do work there then ) horrible additude while she was awake. Last time I go there just too many issues there these days to make it worth while.

I want to give a big shoutout to Tom, who works at Flying J in Minot. He is truly one of the best when it comes to keeping the place clean and organized. Tom is the only one who truly understands the value of a truck driver’s time. He always maintains the washrooms professionally and ensures they are spotless, clean, and ready to use.
What really makes Tom stand out is his quick response and respectful attitude toward drivers. He’s always on top of things and never misses a chance to help. The Flying J team is lucky to have someone like him. Thank you, Tom, for your hard work and dedication—it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Shower and fax not working from a month they didn’t even tried to fix it.
Always short on staff or staff never cares if someone waiting at counter.

I have no clue about what is happening with this place????
I went for a shower at 4.30 am on sunday 18th May 2025 after a layover. They had no showers cleaned. I said I will wait until 1 gets cleaned. She said OKAY. Waited until about 5.30 and no response and nothing cleaned. Checked back again at 6.15am and the response was NO SHOWER CLEANED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT ATLEAST 2 MORE HOURS TO GET IT CLEANED. So I asked for a clean towel to use the dirty shower as I had to leave as soon as possible. They denied saying it's against there's policy. (WHICH I UNDERSTAND). Ended up going to the restroom and that looked , it wasn't cleaned for several days. Ended up going to an another pump to use the washroom.... To add all these time the staffs were on the phone or just walking around in the store and out for smoking....

The African American girl that worked the night shift 5/13 let her family come in one night and let them take stuff for free…. Bad attitude and no customer service. No knowledge on how to do anything. Didn’t know how to do the showers or the scales. Just terrible.

i hate this travel center. talk about incompetence. tried to take a shower over the weekend. no such luck as all was dirty. this travel center never has hot food for us truckers. the trash can outside by subway was so full it was coming out on the ground. the trash cans inside were full all the way to the top so that you could barely open the little door to throw something away. out of all the truck stops i have ever been to this is the worst. before i posted my review i looked to see what others were saying and unfortunately it is the same thing that never changes. never. ever. we need to come together and boycot this travel center it is so bad and never changes. ever.
