We went car shopping one day in mid July. We were looking to trade our pickup for a mid size new, or up to three year old, low mile SUV or crossover. After several dealerships, test drives and a full day of dealing with "could care less, take it or leave it" sales people, over priced vehicles and some really lowball trade offers, we decided to call it a day and go home. As we were driving down 20th Avenue past Ryan's Cadillac, GMC, Buick, my wife said "have you thought about stopping here?". I replied "no, it looks like they only have a few SUV's, and I'm ready to just call it a day". Besides, we hadn't even considered looking at Cadillacs for some reason. Since we were driving by, I decided to pull through the lot and have a look anyway. Sitting on the east end of the front row was a really nice looking bronze 2019 Cadillac XT5 Platinum AWD that immediately caught our attention. We got out to look at the car, and after a few moments, a sales person pulled up on a golf cart and asked if he could help us. We wanted to look at the XT5, two other XT5's there with it and possibly a couple Buicks. He went and got the keys, and we looked at the low mileage, "Cadillac certified" 2019 first. After looking it over and test driving it, we decided we weren't interested in the others, just the 2019. We went inside to talk, and the sales manager took our truck to appraise it. While we were waiting, we found out that the store was closing for the day because of a company picnic. We offered to come back the next day or the weekend, but the sales manager, salesman and document person all insisted they would stay until we were finished one way or another. When the manager came back with an offer, I thought it was a little low and said so, he asked what our highest trade offer of the day was and said he would give us $1001.00 more than that. They also agreed to install a set of factory mud guards to sweeten the deal. We worked out a deal and drove the Cadillac home later that evening after it was washed and checked out a final time by the service department. Incidentally, several people stayed late and missed the company picnic. The entire staff we worked with were friendly, genuine, conversational and didn't act a bit like they just wanted to get the sale over with and get out of there. A week later, we brought the car back to have the mud flaps installed, and the service manager and service staff were equally impressive. They made me feel like they genuinely cared about how I was treated, and cared about making sure my car was taken care of. After many years of being treated as something between "fairly decently" and as an outright inconvenience by other dealerships, it was a really pleasant change. This was the first time in many years that I left a car dealership and didn't feel at least a little bit cheated. If this is their norm, I'll be stopping at Ryan's first from now on. Incidentally, the Cadillac XT5 also out classed all the many other vehicles we looked at and tested, and was actually realistically priced. It also rates 5 stars so far.

Andrew was very informative and "steered" my vehicle in the right direction to make sure everything was in tip top condition. James was the technician; spot on.

Had an awesome experience buying my new Sierra there. At a time where some dealers are using the vehicle shortage for huge markups and to force buyers to purchase extras Ryan GMC made my purchase smooth, easy and enjoyable and still offered great pricing!.

RYANS CADILLAC, HAVE A CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT WITH KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANICS WHO EXPLAIN DETAIL TO DETAIL WHAT YOUR AUTOMOBILE NEEDS. THE EMPLOYEE'S ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS, THEY'RE FRIENDLY & IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR MY AUTOMOBILE TO BE SERVICED. THEY CALLED ME TO LET MY KNOW WHEN MY PARTS WERE IN, THEY ALSO CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT I LEFT SOME OF MY BELONGINGS THERE. THERE PRICES ARE FAIR & THEIR WORK IS GOOD, I RECOMMEND THEM WITH 5 STARS.

Juan confirmed a vehicle was there and available for me to come and purchase. Confirmed the selling price of $48,000 + 5% Sales Tax + $229 Doc Fee = $50,629 and said the unit was on hold for me until noon the following day (today). I asked to put a card deposit on it to ensure it was mine and he told me “There’s no one here to take a deposit for you. It will still be here.” Perfect I was excited to pick up the 2019 Suburban. This morning before I left town I called because it wasn’t on the website anymore. He told me that it sold yesterday evening (mind you I was on the phone with him yesterday evening) and he tried saying he was confused with another Suburban. Still trying to figure that out since he confirmed the numbers and the other one is $10,000 less. If I for some reason ever want to try doing business again, I’ll be sure to make sure it’s with someone who knows what they’re talking about.

They misdiagnosed my vehicle had me pay over 600$ for a part I didn't need. I am filing a lawsuit against them. If this is the way they treat disabled veterans, imagine how they treat everyone else. Just a bunch of shyster. Yelp took down my earlier review because big business versus disabled veteran. So screw me. But they left their digital copy in my truck so I know the truth. The entire kit.

Everything was good in the beginning, but then when it came to the insurance payment it started to go down hill. I had no control over how long it would take for the insurance company (USAA) to take. After the repairs were made I found out that the check to Ryan GMC of Minot was not made out to them like I requested. It was made out to me. I spoke to Adam at Ryan GMC of Minot on 22 Dec 2020 at 1052am for 3 minutes and 22 seconds. I then informed him of what the claim agent had informed me. Here's what the claim agent had said: USAA December 15, 2020 at 11:11 a.m. CT Your estimate is complete. A payment of $941.44 was issued to LAUREL ****** for your auto claim and will arrive within 5-7 business days. Payment details: Payment under Collision Coverage less $500.00 Deductible. LAUREL ******, 2015 GMC ACADIA DENALI. After informing Adam of that there was no longer any contact until 29 Dec from Ryan GMC of Minot. Due to waiting for the check. Then on 29 Dec 2020 between 3:34pm to 4:27pm a representative from Ryan GMC of Minot called me 22 times. I work and was actually teaching a class at that time via Zoom. I could not take the call, but they continued to call. I then called Ryan GMC of Minot back at 4:57pm. Paige initially answered and she stated that she had been trying to get a hold of me. I stated, "so 22 times is how to get a hold of someone during work hours?". She then transferred me to Tim who is the manager. I spoke to him for 13 minutes and 34 seconds. I stressed the point that I had given Adam all the information from the claim agent on 22 Dec and that they had sent out the check. He informed me that the rental was over it's 30 days. I said that Adam told me to wait and let me know when the check has arrived. Tim informed me that the rental needed to be returned. I understand that, but was under a different impression by Adam. I then contacted my agent through USAA: Conversations LAUREL ******December 29, 2020 at 4:31 p.m. CT hello, I still have not received the money to pay Ryan GMC for my claim. Do you know what the status of it is? sincerely, Laurel ****** Showing 1 to 5 of 5 Replies Reply: Katrina ***** December 29, 2020 at 5:22 p.m. CT Sergeant ******, we have issued the funds to you as of 12/15/2020. Printed checks can take 7-10 business days to be received. With the holiday being a delay you should be seeing the payment some time this week. Reply: LAUREL ******December 29, 2020 at 5:54 p.m. CT Hi, well I have a problem. I don't have the check and Ryan GMC said I have to return the rental tomorrow. they will not release my vehicle until the payment has been made in full. which leaves me without a vehicle. now I need a rental. can you get me a rental tomorrow morning? since I don't have the check yet. I have kids and cannot be without a vehicle. please help. Laurel ****** _____________________________ So at that point USAA issued me a rental car to be picked up on 30 Dec 2020, but luckily the check arrived via USPS at 1030ish. So I was able to cash the check and pick up my vehicle. My huge issue is that this overall went ok, besides the representative from Ryan GMC of Minot calling me 22 time during a work day. 22 times from 3:34pm to 4:27pm. I was so upset and being disrupted while working and teaching a class. This is unacceptable actions to be taken on a customer. If you need proof i will most certainly send you my Verizon statement. Whoever was calling that much to a customer needs to be trained on customer service. That was completely unacceptable. I had no reason to keep the vehicle longer, but Adam never informed me that there was an issue after I told him what the USAA claim representative told me. If there was an issue on 22 Dec 2020, it should have been addressed versus hearing that there is an issue on 29 Dec 2020. Hence the holidays and that is probably why the check was delayed. Then there were non holiday days I could have been contacted on if there was an issue. I am unhappy with this whole experience. Yes, it got fixed, but but the payment was delayed
