Towing in Minot, ND

“This has been the 2nd tow this week by NoDak Towing & Recovery in Minot, ND. I have to say that both the tow truck drivers, as well as the dispatchers, have been exceptionally friendly and helpful, thank you very much!! During a stressful event, it is nice to have a smiling face or voice!!!

My only complaint is that it took an excessively long time. First tow took a total of 4 hours (waiting for the truck to tow us). Second tow we actually had an appointment for a pickup time of 8:00am, but the car was not picked up until about 9:30am.

Most of the problem is with the insurance company... When we call and put in the request for the tow they make it seem like the truck will be here immediately. They don't explain that the towing company is in a different town, 75 miles away. Then there may be other other issues (such as another tow before us or equipment retrieval needed, etc.) that happen before the tow truck is able to get to our location. This might seem obvious, but when you're stressed out, getting horrible cell service (like 1 bar of cell service), getting cold waiting and worried that the car may be beyond feasibility to fix (not to mention all the other things in your mind that are adding up) .. in other words, stressed out to the max, it would be nice for the insurance company to actually give you a realistic time frame.

In the end, this is not a fault of the tow truck company, it's a communication issue with the company that coordinates the tow. The main reason I mentioned it is so that others may also realize that it will probably take longer than expected for the tow truck to reach your location and you need to be patient, it is most likely not the tow truck drivers fault!

I also need to say, once the tow truck driver showed up to our location, he had the car hooked up and ready to leave in an exceptionally fast time frame!!!

MY visit with the tow man was amazing he even let us help him he was very kind and extremely helpful he called before he arrived which was really fast about a 20 minute wait!!
