About Black Gold Suites Tioga
Black Gold Suites Tioga is a nice place offering comfortable rooms and a great price, especially for North Dakota. The rooms are a decent size with comfortable beds and good-sized bathrooms. The staff is nice and polite. A remodeling effort is underway with brighter walls, though some dim lighting remains. The breakfast is amazing with plenty of food that tastes like real food, including eggs that look like actual eggs. However, it is a standard hotel breakfast and goes quickly, often gone by 7am. Guests should remember to log out of TV apps before leaving. While daily housekeeping is not provided, the rooms are clean and there is laundry access. The owner and staff provide good service, sometimes going out of their way to help. It is a not bad place, popular for work-related stays, and many would definitely stay here again.
I usually avoid non-chain hotels but this place is an exception. The price per night is perfect and it’s with in walking distance to almost everywhere in town. There is a Maverik next door for those late night cravings. This is my go to when I’m in the area for work.
