About Mouse River Park
Mouse River Park is a great and awesome park with a huge area for camping. It offers several areas for tents and RVs. The facilities are clean and well kept. There are two public, heated bath houses with toilets and showers. The showers are nothing fancy but they are clean. There is also one main building next to the pub with showers and running water, though the water from the sinks smelled horrible. Pit toilets are scattered throughout the park. The check-in process is self-pay at a kiosk, but finding the station is a bit tricky; it is located next to a small FEMA trailer between the general store and pub. The park provides plenty of play areas for children and a playground. There is a wide green space for yard games and an area with multiple picnic tables on cement slabs under metal awnings. For adults, there is a general store and a bar or restaurant, offering bar bingo and refreshments. There is also a large BBQ area. Activities include fishing, which is out of this world, as well as boating and trail walking. The park is dog-friendly with a couple of dog stations, but pets should be watched as few people follow the leash rule. The people encountered are a mix between pleasant and some with a 'don't look at me' attitude, though friendly visitors abound. Overall, it is a wonderful getaway and a good experience.
This is a great park with plenty of play areas for children, a general store and bar/ restaurant for adults.

It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Kid friendly and has an excellent bar and grill.

This place is awesome, the lady who runs the place is really nice and helpful and the facilities are clean and the fishing I hear is out of this world. Will update further in another week or so.
