“This place has literally saved us with their bread pantry and monthly food box, and when we hit our absolute lowest and needed help for rent, they helped us, as well as gave us a few other resources to call for rent help. “Bethel Lutheran Home is a wonderful place to "retire" if you or a loved one is no longer able to take care of self. They have daily activities for the residents. The bar is set high for caring for and showing utmost respect for the residents.. I give them a four star rating because of how some of the staff are treated. I can't speak for all employees, but I worked in food service for five days and that was enough for me. Food service employees are not given breaks. In a 7-8 hour shift you are given one 30 min lunch. No other breaks are allotted. It's a very busy, laborious, shift and should absolutely come with at least one 10-15 min break.”
