“The staff here is very kind and polite. They respond quickly to every request and are proactive in ensuring every need is met. The rooms are well equipped and quiet. We come to Williston a couple of times each year. We have tried other hotels and Airbnbs but Candlewood has met our needs better than any other option. We highly recommend this hotel.”

“Whether it is my boss or myself that travel for business, we always stay at the Hawthorn by Wyndham Williston. Boss tried a couple other places over the years, packed up, left and checked into the Wyndham. I suggest to always book through the front desk. The staff has long tenor with the hotel and are kind and helpful at all times. They really make me feel like they go above and beyond with setting me up with a room or helping me use the business center they provide. It feels like they are my extended group of friends. The restaurant has a fabulous menu. Delicious items every night. I treated myself to a steak dinner on this visit and it did not disappoint.”

“I stayed here for work. I’m very hard of hearing, did not have my hearing aids with me, and have difficulty waking up to standard alarms and high-pitched sounds. Because of that, I requested an ADA accessibility kit with a bed-shaking alarm clock immediately upon check-in. The woman checking me in seemed genuinely curious about what I was asking for and asked a few questions. Another employee approached during the conversation and seemed to be the more senior staff member. I explained what the kit was, where it might be stored, and that I completely understand that many employees may not be familiar with it because it probably isn’t requested very often. Unfortunately, she repeatedly cut me off mid-sentence with, “Nope, we don’t have that,” without appearing willing to check. While I was waiting to finish checking in, I noticed a housekeeper walking by. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but she flagged down another gentleman who worked there, and both of them were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered to look into it for me rather than simply assuming the hotel didn’t have one. I had to leave to run an errand and let the gentleman know I would be back before 8 p.m. He told me he was still looking into it and would let the front desk know so they could follow up with me when I returned. I didn’t hear anything when I got back, so I emailed the corporate line and hotel management asking them to look into the situation. Management responded much faster than I expected, was very apologetic, and had a front desk employee personally bring the accessibility kit to my room that same night. I genuinely appreciated that management took the concern seriously, located the kit, and made sure it was brought directly to me. Aside from that interaction, my room was clean and updated, and nearly every staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Maybe the employee at the front desk was simply having an off day. Either way, I’m very pleased with how management handled the situation once they became aware of it.”

“This place was pretty great! We had funeral in Althe Williston/Alamo area and needed a place to stay, my husband's family invited us to stay at the hotel with them and we liked it so much we turned our overnight trip into an entire weekend and got a king room, it was clean, super quiet, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were big and the price was surprisingly affordable especially for being in the oilfeilds! It was just an overall nice stay. There was no pool unfortunately, but had no kids with us this time, the entire place is massive and has hundreds of rooms! They have a restaurant in the hotel but we didn't try it, maybe next time. When we go back we will definitely be staying here again!!!”

“Do whatever you can to get an inside room. The outside rooms are big, but the heat/ac is terrible. I measured 110 degrees with my handheld temperature gun. It's hard to get the temperature right. Barely move it and it'll go all the way hot. Move it down at all and you'll freeze to death. I'd wake up when it was -20 to -30 outside to the room feeling like the same temperature. The restaurant inside the hotel is good though... But beg for and inside room if you have to.”

“Help at the desk was good. The room is clean other then the many stains on the floor. Plenty of room and storage and a full fridge and stove and oven make it a great place for work trips. The Chinese buffet that is located on the floor has the entire place smelling good, I think I need to go get me some!”

“The MANAGER TEA is so customer service oriented and goes above and beyond! Her staff is definitely professional, compassionate, and well trained. If you have an issue she will address it and make sure you are provided with the best solution. The fridge wasn’t working and I lost lamb and’s she went above and beyond to seek compensation! This was the best stay ever!!!! Thank yall greatly.”

“That’s a great detail because it’s specific and memorable. I’d work it in right after the paragraph about the refrigerator and staff since it’s another example of something that exceeded your expectations. I had a great experience staying here. The booking process was easy. When I first called, they told me they were full, but I went ahead and put my name on the waiting list anyway. The front desk told me it would probably be two or three days before they had an opening, and they actually called me back in just two days. I had been living in my 1995 Chevy G20 van, and the North Dakota summer heat was wearing me out. The moment I walked into my room and felt that ice-cold air conditioning, I knew I’d made the right decision. I walked in and said, “Sold!” The staff has been outstanding. My mini fridge wasn’t freezing my food, so I mentioned it to the front desk, and they brought me a full-size refrigerator. That’s the kind of customer service that really stands out. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever I’ve needed something. One thing that really surprised me was the hot water. It gets hot incredibly fast, and I mean hot. After spending all day out in the North Dakota oil field covered in dirt and grime, coming back and taking a long, piping-hot shower feels amazing. It’s one of those little things you don’t think about until you experience it, but it definitely made my stay even better. The rooms aren’t huge, so you’ll want to keep your belongings organized, but there’s plenty of space for what you need. You have your own bathroom, and the location is excellent. It’s convenient whether you’re heading into downtown Williston or traveling east toward Montana. I’ve seen some negative reviews, but honestly, I think people need to keep things in perspective. You’re getting two weeks of rent for about $365. This isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, and it isn’t trying to be. For the price, Perry Suites goes above and beyond what I expected. Five stars from me. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, affordable place with great staff and excellent value.”

“Everything was just as it should be. Very nice rooms. Staff very pleasant and lots of smiles in the restrauant and at the front desk. Maddie Nelson impressed us as always smiling.
