“Probably the best place I've stayed in Williston in a long time! The staff was very friendly and it was very clean and well maintained. The pool was fantastic!”

“Our receptionist Abby was amazing, very friendly. The hotel itself looks pretty new, if it isn’t new, it has been renovated. The rooms a good size and so far each room we’ve stayed in has had a good sized flatscreen with plenty of channels. The furniture is all very nice, there are even nightlights on the bed frames. The bathrooms are great. Everything inside our room and throughout the hotel was clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and well made up. Our television remote was sanitized. Theirs a pool. They offer a good breakfast and free dinners Mon-Thurs with free beer! I believe they offer other things throughout the week. It was quiet (as in no loud noises or disturbances). Overall great!”
“We needed a room near the airport for an early morning flight. The location was great. The room was spacious for three adults. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The kitchenette was well stocked though we did not use it. We brought our own breakfast in knowing we would have to check out before the hotel breakfast was open. We appreciated the fridge and microwave to store and reheat our food.”
“Love that they have a pool table in the lobby, they have a nice breakfast, and for a little extra they will fix omelets. They lost a star due to blood on the floor in the elevator both times I used it.”
“LOVE LOVE LOVE ! Highly Recommend. Spacious clean rooms and and outstanding complementary breakfast. The waffles were super Yummy. I had a really nice peaceful stay. I will definitely be returning.”

“Do whatever you can to get an inside room. The outside rooms are big, but the heat/ac is terrible. I measured 110 degrees with my handheld temperature gun. It's hard to get the temperature right. Barely move it and it'll go all the way hot. Move it down at all and you'll freeze to death. I'd wake up when it was -20 to -30 outside to the room feeling like the same temperature.
The restaurant inside the hotel is good though... But beg for and inside room if you have to.”

“I've had many great stays with family at this hotel. The good far outweighs the bad. If there was ever an issue, Carla, the manager, has been absolutely amazing, helpful, and kind. She will do whatever she can to help ensure your stay is the best. The only downfall is the EXTREMELY rude, inconsiderate, and lazy front desk woman who works overnights. She is so disrespectful and clearly shouldn't be working the front desk and greeting others - let alone in the customer service field. I believe she alone can deter others from coming to Mainstay in Williston. The attitude she has towards the guests is absolutely appalling and uncalled for. If you do stay here, just check in during the morning/afternoon so you avoid her at night.”
“This hotel was very accommodating to my times for check in and check out time. Also in walking distance to the Walmart. Clean and quiet. The only complaint I would have is the WiFi service isn’t the greatest but workable.”

“Had dinner in the Tavern and was so very impressed with the kitchen and the bar. They were slammed last night (I almost wanted to go somewhere else when I saw how full it was) but we stayed and had drinks and appetizers and main courses. Our server was a thoughtful and polite young lady who (with the help of runners and the kitchen guy) got out drinks and meals out to us very quickly. There is construction blocking the front right now but you can detour to get to the parking lot. The bar and lounge are remodeled and immaculate. This is where you want to go for first dates and business meetings. The rest of the hotel is remodeled too, you can see it on the web site. Our thanks to the kitchen runner for being so prompt and kind. I also noticed all the other bar workers working as fast as possible and making sure people got refills and attention. Remarkable for an evening where it was almost wall to wall people.”
“The MANAGER TEA is so customer service oriented and goes above and beyond! Her staff is definitely professional, compassionate, and well trained. If you have an issue she will address it and make sure you are provided with the best solution. The fridge wasn’t working and I lost lamb and’s she went above and beyond to seek compensation! This was the best stay ever!!!! Thank yall greatly.”

“That’s a great detail because it’s specific and memorable. I’d work it in right after the paragraph about the refrigerator and staff since it’s another example of something that exceeded your expectations.
I had a great experience staying here. The booking process was easy. When I first called, they told me they were full, but I went ahead and put my name on the waiting list anyway. The front desk told me it would probably be two or three days before they had an opening, and they actually called me back in just two days.
I had been living in my 1995 Chevy G20 van, and the North Dakota summer heat was wearing me out. The moment I walked into my room and felt that ice-cold air conditioning, I knew I’d made the right decision. I walked in and said, “Sold!”
The staff has been outstanding. My mini fridge wasn’t freezing my food, so I mentioned it to the front desk, and they brought me a full-size refrigerator. That’s the kind of customer service that really stands out. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever I’ve needed something.
One thing that really surprised me was the hot water. It gets hot incredibly fast, and I mean hot. After spending all day out in the North Dakota oil field covered in dirt and grime, coming back and taking a long, piping-hot shower feels amazing. It’s one of those little things you don’t think about until you experience it, but it definitely made my stay even better.
The rooms aren’t huge, so you’ll want to keep your belongings organized, but there’s plenty of space for what you need. You have your own bathroom, and the location is excellent. It’s convenient whether you’re heading into downtown Williston or traveling east toward Montana.
I’ve seen some negative reviews, but honestly, I think people need to keep things in perspective. You’re getting two weeks of rent for about $365. This isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, and it isn’t trying to be. For the price, Perry Suites goes above and beyond what I expected.
Five stars from me. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, affordable place with great staff and excellent value.”
“Nice place for the price! My only complaint is that the walls are super thin so you can literally hear your neighbors breathing. Staff is super nice, and the rooms are perfect for a night stay.”
“Staff is amazing. Prices are great. It's the people who work here that make the difference. It's a good place to house people for work. The pricing is really good if you book online instead of at the front desk. I would recommend this if you want to stay.”
“The staff here is very kind and polite. They respond quickly to every request and are proactive in ensuring every need is met. The rooms are well equipped and quiet. We come to Williston a couple of times each year. We have tried other hotels and Airbnbs but Candlewood has met our needs better than any other option. We highly recommend this hotel.”
