Menards is a fun place to shop, but not if you need the electric mobility carts. They are rarely available. Sometimes they work; other times not so much. Perhaps more than 2 carts are necessary for a store of this size.

Menards is a great store you can do all your shopping here from sporting goods, home repairs, contract ring cleaning supplies, great tools and great people. Customer arrive here at this Menards is one of the best.

Their selection is great. Their service leaves something to be desired. About 1 in 3 employees are working and helpful. The rest appear to be doing little except talking to each other. We waited about 10 minutes for assistance without even being acknowledged while two employees chatted and the line backed up.

Lots of product and many staff members. None who want to help people. They would see customers and walk the other way. I asked a few for help in just pointing toward an area and the common response was to order online. I had more help from other customers than the employees. Even the cashier wasn’t keen on completing the transaction like most places do. I will say they had a variety of product that looked great. I got the feeling that ordering online was more important than buying in store.

Seems like Menards is slowly getting worse. Today for instance I went and paid for $450 of cedar for garden beds. Online it said there was plenty of material for what I needed. When I went too grab the (15) 5/4 1×4x6 I needed, it took me about 30 minutes to find them with no help and of the 18 they said they had "in stock", 2 were chewed up and nasty, 6 of them were 1x4 PINE. Check your material
