Great place to shop for quality groceries, a little expensive but If you can't find something at the other grocery stores you are almost sure to find it at Sobeys

First day of the sale for $1.49 Hams and there's a notice at the entrance saying none are available. Poor managment or something going on there. I know it happens at any store but you think the product would be ordered and secured weeks in advance. Went across the street to Walmart who had all the hams almost the same price ($1.49 versus Walmart's $1.67 per lb).

Good vibes, decent produce, great bakery section. Selection can be limited for some items, I can't always complete my list here. For ex. their cheese selection is not to my taste.

Went to Superstore to get their cheaper Strawberries and was totally disgusted all rotten and molded,came over to Sobeys and their berries were beautiful fresh and better looking

Purchased a graduation cake today for my grand daughter grad party.cake was really pretty and the taste was very good . We got a white cake with whipped frosting. Would recommend this cake .

Bought pack of chicken only to discover it was expired. Funny thing was the extent they went to in order to sell expired chicken to my family. They wrapped and tagged over the original shrink wrap and label with the expiry date on it. Shifty to say the least. They must not be making enough money.

I stopped going to Superstore in Amherst over a year ago and started shopping in Sobeys and I'm so glad I did. The customer service is always great especially Pam. Plus the vegan selection is more than decent.
