As a retired businessman, I have had always the worst, non-friendly experience when I walked to the royal bank in Annapolis. But today, I got the warmest welcoming with a beautiful friendly smile from one of the staff (Nicole) made me wonder how only one person makes difference in customer service. I hope the rest of the staff wake up and change their attitudes toward people regardless of their nationality or skin colour and accent they have.

The level of service in this branch depends on which bank teller you end up interacting with. Some make you feel like a criminal. and others make you feel like their best friend. Very disconcerting! The branch highly recommends wearing a mask. I have no issue with this. However, when I am told to remove the mask to verify my identity {after providing 3 unique pieces of ID] I see little reason to follow the mask recommendation. RBC is NOT your friend.
