Mr Khan was a wonderful host. They have a huge place with many accommodations. They have a in-house dine in as well. Ample parking. Decent rooms. Room has an information booklet which is very helpful. The Baddeck waterfront is just 15-mins walk from the Inn. The Graham Bell museum is 14mins walk. The downtown is also a 10-min walk. The town has a wonderful gift shop which is right opp the information centre. No Uber. No taxi. No TimHortons. No McD.Mr Khan was gracious enough to drop us to the Maritime Busstop on the day f departure.

Very helpful staff. The gentleman in charge was particularly helpful with a concern. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Could use some updating. Did not utilize the dining room. Exceptional location.

We stayed two nights here. There was also a large bus tour in and while we were checking in, reception had no problem telling us we should find somewhere else to eat for dinner as she stated there would be no room for us. They also only serve breakfast and dinner and had to find elsewhere to eat if we wanted lunch. The room and bathroom were dated but clean. Bed was nice but Pillows were not comfortable at all. We were also placed in the back of the building where the housekeeping staff gathered and smoked just a few steps away. This hotel is not fully wheel chair accessible. When we did get to dine at the Inn, it was not disappointing. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious.Walkability: Baddeck is a small village and the Inns are all very close to one another. We went on a bus tour and a boat tour that were very close by.Food & drinks: The food and drink were enjoyable.

Sorry but we were extremely disappointed at this place. We were on vacation from Toronto and were driving from PEI, we were super tired but still couldn't get a good night sleep. Rooms were not Clean. I found a ball of hair near the bed ? AC was too loud and there was a distinctive smell. Breakfast was extra $. At checkout I noticed another lady complaining about how her room was not clean either. I don't see myself staying there again with my family.

We had 6 rooms booked for a bike trip, when the weather took a turn for the worse, we called to see if we could cancel our reservation even though it was well past the cancellation time. They were very understanding and allowed us to cancel. When the weather cleared last minute, we ended up rebooking with them and are so glad we did!!The rooms were clean and comfortable, the grounds beautifully kept and friendly staff! They even opened up the conference room for our large group to have a space to jam on our guitar.Located right in the heart of Baddeck and walking distance to everything. This is the perfect place to stay if you are exploring Cape Breton. We will return for sure!Rooms: Great rooms, very clean, comfortable beds!Nearby activities: Walking distance to the nightly ceilidh at St Micheals Parish hall. Lots of great shops close by to explore.Walkability: Close to the heart of town, walking distance to everything…. Including the liquor storeFood & drinks: Nice restaurant on site. Evening meal was awesome. Full disclosure…breakfast could have been better for the price, but it did the trick

A well loved Inn in Baddeck. We stayed for 4 days and used this as a jumping off for our travels on the Calbot Trail. The rooms are clean, had zero issues.Just to let you know that the in is great for the location. It is not a 5 star lux inn, whereas a few things are dated, but it appears they are making improvements.Again great village inn, and the town is charming and within a 5 min walk.

Booked a Hilltop double room in Feb. for Aug 8, and the room they gave me was not what I booked it was only one bed instead of two, in a different building with no view. They were full so could not move us. What is the point of booking in advance if they give away your room.

Nice rooms, fully equipped. A/C could not work without squealing intensely. The food for dinner was great!

Beautiful space. Gorgeous gardens. Slightly too far to walk to town, but you definitely can. 10-15 min. Not by the waterfront but it's walking distance. Rooms are clean. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were fine but outdated. Buffet breakfast available for purchase on weekends -$13.

Stayed July 10, 2023. The Hilltop building. Walked into room and was back in 1986. Very dated. Bathroom door was sticking and very squeaky loud when opening and closing. Woke my husband up in middle of the night. Bathroom light bulbs were very dim. Water saver shower apparatus was redundant as the water was gushing out of the spout. Air conditioner only worked on high setting and was very loud. We brought these issues to the manager upon check out and he shrugged it off saying that he rents that room out every night with no complaints. He didn’t seem to care. Book elsewhere there are much nicer places to stay in town.

We enjoyed our stay. Employees were polite and accommodating. Our room was clean, we came on a weekend when it was hot so the a/c wasn’t on, but we turned it on ourselves and went for a walk. By the time we came back the room was fresh. People have to remember this is a 3-4 star hotel so don’t expect 6 stars, you pay for what you get. Regardless we felt safe. Would come again.

The Auberge Giseles is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are clean, fresh, beautifully decorated and, windows that open onto the bay. It is just a short walk to downtown where there great shops and waterfront dining. We had the best steamed mussels and seafood linguini ever!!! The people are friendly, the staff is very helpful and at the end of your day you can have a bevy in a Muskoka chair, underneath the pines on the manicured grounds. All the while the breeze from the lake/bay wafts gently around you. Don't miss this lovely experience maybe on your way to the Cabot trail!
