“This is where we will purchase pewter from now on. We purchased a number of items at Amos Pewter-Halifax. When we got home from our cruise we found that one box of earring inadvertently was not included in the bag. I contacted Amos and explained the situation. Not only did they send a replacement set immediately but they sent two sets because the first one was tied up in US customs. Exceptional service before and after the purchase.”

“A small, gift shop with art prints, ceramics, and other displays made by the locals both here and around Halifax. It was very quiet and not crowded at all, when we visited. The displays are in a spacious, clean well-kept area with staff present and greeted us. There were a few products that caught my eye, too. It was a good 10-15 minutes of browsing Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc.”

“Whenever I take a trip into the city, I always look forward to visiting The Independent Mercantile Co. - It could be at your 1st time visiting for your 20th time, the staff is always happy to greet you and is super friendly, I could definitely spend hours browsing throughout quirky, yet useful products. As someone who has a home bar, I always look forward to seeing the amazing inventory of barware they have, including several types of bitters and sought-after, Luxardo cherries. “I had originally purchased a power loomed rug because it was more affordable. While it was gorgeous, I kept returning to the website to view the hand-knotted rugs. Ultimately, I called Tabrizi to request a return, and they were very accommodating. I ended up purchasing this vintage hand-knotted rug from Iran, and I couldn't be happier. If I can give any of you a word of advice, it would be this: you are better off investing in a true work of craftsmanship that will last you a lifetime than a fossil fuel byproduct that will end up in a landfill in a few years.
