I've been visiting this place for a few months now and have had positive experiences so far. The staff is courteous and helpful. However, since I haven't explored many of their services yet, please consider this a review from a newcomer.

When you go to a store, you expect to be able to pay for your stuff. Not stand in line watching the staff have a conversation with other staff and friends talking about nothing to do with a pet store. *needs better night staff for the weekend* maybe they should get self check outs ?

Have an empty 40 gallon tank and was sharply told 6 gold fish was over crowding... I get keeping the fishes best interest in mind, but that's being ridiculous. Also, I'm sure the owner wouldn't mind airing on the side of caution and getting the sale.

The staff at this particular Pet Smart are very enthusiastic and seem pretty knowledgeable. The selection of reptile related stuff is kind of sad though.

I have a fussy eater small dog. The employee in the Bedford Commons store dog food area was very knowledgeable about picky eaters. He suggested one, Royal Canin Fussy Appetite. My little guy loved it….until a couple of months later when he got even fussier. Then he suggested Bil n Jac Picky no More. Chip’s eating that up now.One good thing to know, if your dog doesn’t like the food….you can return the open bag for a full refund! Now that’s good customer service.

My dogs both were groomed this week at Bedford Petsmart . They both have been cut . I apply med . Cream on the cuts . I will never go back there again . I don’t think they are properly trained

Staff was kind, they couldn't give any sample foods but directed us to the isle with the small bags of food and let us know that we could return the food if our dog doesn't eat the food. We needed a tough toy for our dogo and it was nice to be able to select the toy from a section that was suitable.

I love this store. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, very friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel special.....can't say enough great things about this store and it's quality products and people.

I hate how they sell snakes but cannot seem to consistently have feeder rats and mice in stock. They also have either lied to us or been misinformed twice when we called ahead to check their inventory and were told they had some. Only to be snapped at by staff when we made the hour long drive and dared to ask why there wasn't any in the cooler.

I went in with my brother and my wife to get the hamster. I asked the staff there a lot of question even though i had 2 hamster before. The staff did not know anything and had to go on google. She had to call “ an expert “ to come to talk to us. However she didn’t know anything either. So “an other expert” came and said she hear our conversation and decided to only sell us 1 hamster not 2. Just because she didn’t believe we would be able to take care of them. We explained to them that we had hamsters before and we knew what we are doing. She didn’t want listen or see the picture of our hamster. She even said she would notice other Petsmart to not sell us the pet.Even other guests saw the whole conversation and said she was very rude and inexperienced.I felt very upset and didn’t want to make a big trouble, it was just a hamster after all.I think the store had to train their staff better to handle the kind of situation. At least teach them how to do business.

The staff is unfriendly, impolite, doesn’t have any knowledge about what they are doing.Came in to buy 2 Dwaft Hamster, but “an expert” there insisted to only sell us 1. I don’t know why and she doesn’t even care to explain nor being reasonable.After all horrible experience at this Petsmart.Would not recommend to anyone to came here.

I went in to look at leopard gecko's. There were 2 employees present in that section.I asked about the geckos and they waved me off stating ya they are there in 3 tanks. Neither of them even looked up. Neither of them had interest in selling me anything.I literally walked away saying "ya you guys are sure interested in selling f all".No thanks. Ill get my reptiles elsewhere. Not that i thought it was a good idea to begin with but this certainly solidifies it. No other customers were in their section. They truly had zero interest in helping me.6:20pm March 15th 2023. Check your employees smh.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. My cat has crystals, and I was really concerned because he is a picky eater. I was really stressed and upset, and they were so supportive and genuinely compassionate for my situation. They shared their experiences with me and showed me that what I was dealing with was manageable with the right dietary food and lots of water.You can tell that the team working there really have a passion for animals and are willing to help in any way they can. They were able to give me every brand they carried of the wet food for urinary health and told me that the unopened ones I could bring back for a refund.I was relieved leaving the store having more information than I had received from the vet, as well as being able to get both wet and dry food at a fraction of the cost of the veterinary food.They are the only location I will go to for my cats' needs. They are supportive, friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate about giving our pets the best care possible.Prices on some items may be a little more pricey than avenues - Amazon in particular for one, but for the shopping experience and staff on sote, 10/10 will continue to shop there.
