All you need at one store at great prices, only negative you have to pay for your cart and if you forget a quarter you have to go back to your car.. those days I shop elsewhere

I had a wonderful experience tonight with a lovely young Punjabi girl named Vana at the self checkout. I struggled a bit with scanning the items and redeeming Points but she was VERY helpful and patient. I wish all grocery store employees were as competent and kind as she is….

I was at No Frills today and used the self check out. Emma was one of the employees working and she was very helpful, friendly and courteous. I just wanted to pass along a good review on her behalf. Customer service can be stressful. You deal with many different people who are also dealing with things we know nothing about. Emma did a wonderful job today as I'm sure she does every shift. Just wanted to acknowledge her great cx service. Thanks Emma for the smile.

I WAS a regular no frills shopper...I guess I didn't realize there were 'rules' for when you put your groceries up on the belt. I generally use the self checker and use a cart but today...I was in a rush trying to get my grandchildren to their mother's so they could enjoy the eclipse and I didn't have a quarter for their cart and used a basket instead. I also decided to use the cashier today. I don't frequent cashier's and welcome the self checkers due to past experiences. I grabbed more than I had planned as I usually do. I put my basket up on the belt and proceeded to try to transfer money from one account to another with my online banking while she was scanning things through, as I knew I was going to need to anyways. I didn't quite notice at this point there was an issue until I seen my food being thrown across the belt after each scan. I looked at this woman like what is up with her...I happened to noticed a box of chicken I decided I didnt want as I had looked up and told her I didn't really want it. Again...I didn't think this was a problem as I had seen it done and have done it in the past previously with no problems...she then looks at me gives a sigh grabbed the chicken and called someone to take it back...like I was putting her out! The other worker comes and I told her I was sorry I just really decided I didnt want it. All of a sudden the cashier looks at the other worker and says 'I don't get paid to do this'. Now I'm thinking...OK...there is definitely a problem! Is she upset I asked her to take something back? So the cashier finished ringing my stuff through and I asked her if there was a problem...she said...oh there is no problem NOW...I said clearly there is a problem....and there has been a problem since I got here...she said in a really snotty attitude....'well it's NOT MY JOB to take your groceries out of the basket' and I said...'ok...and this WHOLE time you didn't THINK to tell me this...instead of giving me attitude. It would have been easier to have just told me and I would have GLADLY taken my own groceries out of the basket. I didnt realize it was such an issue...OR A RULE'...she said 'it's not our job' LADY...I AM NOT A MIND READER...THERE IS NOT 1 SIGN ANYWHERE TO EXPLAIN THIS 'RULE' TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO DON'T KNOW THAT RULE AND WHO DON'T FREQUENT RUDE CASHIERS AS YOURSELF...BUT DON'T WORRY...I took my $160+ of business elsewhere and I WON'T be back to NO FRILLS IN BRIDGEWATER!

March 9th has just ended my shopping at no frills in Bridgewater. Was spending $500. A month just for my tobacco and tubes alone, then whatever I bought for groceries while there. Had a problem with the last tub of tobacco(dry and only part tub) went to store this morning to exchange the tobacco (100gram tub) was told that all tobacco comes that way.i told them no it doesn't. said I paid $82. For part tub of dry tobacco I was told store doesn't make the price, told them it s the tobacco itself not the price. Was told once I walked out of store with tobacco that was it the store will do nothing about it.i already in past 4 yrs returned two tubs of tobacco because only part full and had no problems and those tubs I had already opened.the tub I tried to return this morning hadn't been open. Was told if not happy with store then to shop somewhere else. Not to get personal but the so called manager at that store thos morning looked like she just got out of bed. Sad to say but I will not shop at Bridgewater no frills ever again
