Deposited a large check. When I got home, the manager had left a message for me. I hit redial from the number he called from and it said 'This number is not in service.' He left no other number.I found the number online and am now on hold for 10 minutes. When I went in, two tellers were sitting talking to each other - why aren't they answering the phone? Now I am concerned about this check, with no way to talk to anyone.Kind of typical 'race to the bottom' scenario the banks are engaged in for WoCSEP - Worst Customer Service Experience Possible. I think Scotia Bank has RBC edged out, but man - it's a close contest. They're both kind of impossible to deal with.update - finally got through. But why do banks make it so hard to talk to the local branch now? It's ridiculous.
