This is the best indigo in Nova Scotia. The staff here are phenomenal, the store is clean and neatly organized. I love coming here with my baby, as it’s very kid-friendly. Would come every day if I could!

This book store has many little luxuries for your reading nook, and great self care products! There’s always little ‘surprise’ book spot, where staff write a small blip of what the secret book is, wrapped so you can’t see the covers. The staff are very kind too!

I love books. I was a manager in the Halifax store when it opened as well as several small independents over the years. Every time I have entered this store after 8:30 pm in the past few years I’ve been greeted with “we close in x minutes.’ Hint. You have a sign on the door that says that. Maybe “hi how are you can I help you find something” would be a more common sense greeting. You sound like you don’t want me there.
No effort to help me - which in each case I’ve come for a specific product and checked online to account for it being there. Tonight I did not purchase the book that your website says you have 191 copies of because I just again got told you were closing in 20 minutes. Not something we would have allowed staff to do 20 years ago nor something I would tolerate from staff now. I’d prefer to buy from a local bricks and mortar store but you’ve lost my business now. Sad. Chapters was a great bookstore.
