Been a customer here for close to 30 years and just had the worst experience. Will never be shopping here again. I traded in 5 or 6 games a month ago to buy the new shin megami and had money left over. The guy told me that there was a promotion for preorder games which I didn't want because I currently only own a nintendo switch and not much was coming out, after explaining that the guys told me a new direct was coming out and there would probably be some good stuff coming in. After being coaxed to the point where I just shoved the extra money on a preorder to leave and possibly preorder something else in the future. Long story short they told me they could only use the money towards another preorder, the staff was condescending and rude. I told the employee they might as well keep the preorder because I didn't want to preorder anything else for the switch and that I was done doing business with them. I could go on about the experience but take my word that these people push sales on people and don't care about the circumstances.

I was at this place today with my friends and one of my friends had to show ID to buy a video game. A game store cannot ID people for buying a video game.
So if anybody is going to buy from this place, don't let them go out of business
Video games are not tobacco, alcohol, marijuana.
This is a stupid policy which is not legal here in Canada.
They charge to much money, even games that are 5 years old. It's ridiculous

The bigger guy maybe reddish beard was amazing to work with, he really took the time to educate me and choose games that were based on my previous likes. I have told many ppl about him. He should be training the staff at your Halifax locations.

You can really tell that every employee has a strong passion for the content they sell as well as a vast knowledge. I was served by Brady who had such a great attitude, amazing enthusiasm and super patient with me. WILL be shopping with these guys much more in the future.
