Was at this store today, Sunday afternoon and needed a bigger cart to carry some lamps - asked an associate 'VALERIE' if an empty cart next to her was free - she rudely responded with 'NO ITS NOT FREE ' and 'HAVE YOU PAID FOR THOSE LAMPS' - shocked at how rude this woman was , I asked to speak with the manager - it turned out that this rude woman 'VALERIE' is the manager !!
my wife later mentioned to me that this same woman had earlier misbehaved with our 2 year old toddler by scaring her to move as my child was in her way ! SHAME ON YOU VALERIE ! this is how you treat a customer and their child ?
WHO made this woman a manager ? She has zero customer service skills and is downright rude and condescending as if she owns the place - We have shopped at other home sense stores and always experienced polite and helpful staff - this one person spoiled my shopping experience and impression of Home Sense.
