A few months ago I had a wonderful experience at my local shoppers all thanks to a lovely makeup consultant named Cascadia. I often find shopping for perfumes to be overwhelming - so many smells, so many options! Cascadia took note of my interests and preference and suggested Daisy by Marc Jacobs. Absolutely in love with this scent. It shows a lot about an establishment to consistently see competent, friendly, and genuinely helpful workers. My fav place nearby to buy cosmetics. Thanks Shoppers!

I never post reviews but it is super frustrating to pay the crazy prices for pop these days only to open them and discover they are outdated. I've had 2 experiences at this store now. Bought a small Pepsi Zero on Dec.26, tasted awful, looked at the BB date and it was Oct.31. Today March 5, bought a 2L of Pepsi Zero and same thing tasted terrible and looked at the date and it was Jan 02. I'm usually really good at checking BB dates but considering I've been here multiple times and there is no Pepsi Zero in stock, I wouldn't expect it to be expired when restocked. I know it's minor but it's a pain and not worth the gas to return.Edit Aug 1 2023 : Have now just discovered the PC decadent chocolate chunk cookies I purchased there last week expired May 22 2023. How is it even possible for these to have remained on the shelf? The store is small and not very busy ever...it is not that hard to keep tabs on products on a regular basis. I guess I will have to be more diligent on checking bb dates, at other Shoppers that is, because I will not be purchasing anything from this store again.

There's one pharmacist here who's a complete A.I'm lucky I've never needed a prescription, so I don't know the process.When I picked up, the assistant dropped the bag in a different counter just mentioning instructions were inside.My daughter and I took our time to leave, and right before we were gone, the pharmacist came and ask for the name. I thought he meant it to give us the prescription and I told him we got it, and then he was stubborn about the name to close the file when it was a first prescription. To me, he just came out of the blue asking for information I didn't understand why he was asking.Did he ever explain why he was asking the name for? No.Was he helpful and explained how to take the prescription, after he got my daughter's name? NoWas he rude in his manners? YesAm I coming back to this Shoppers pharmacy? No(Wasn't the first time I dealt with this pharmacist. Went a few days prior asking for help with my daughter's earache and he just mentioned to take Tylenol (which we were already doing) .. Can't you suggest anything else to a child in pain? Geez!)

Won't even answer the phone today, can't even get to the automated response. This is owned by Loblaws, who is gouging our pockets deep in name of inflation, I'm done. Moving my pharmacy business elsewhere and boycotting all Loblaws stores.

Pretty good all around from the articles available to services and advice . We appreciate your services 100% . The store is relatively pleasant . Things have gotten very hard to get through to though . I think it's why we feel a star lost . Over many services in the province have found standards slipping . They often don't have our full prescription.

Terrible experience. Awful staff and customer service. Owner told my partner that they could go away and just leave. All we were doing was buying cold medication that was priced differently on the shelf, so we asked if it was correct. Not about the money, but the attitude and clearly discriminatory behaviour is totally unacceptable. Please no one spend money supporting this place.

Poor customer service in cosmetics. Instead of referring customers to call 1-800 Shoppers step up to the plate and reprimand the staff responsible! Complacent staff is a problem obviously. Calling the number goes nowhere! I guess customers aren’t a priority in your store! Quit the excuses! Seriously.

The pharmacy has gone downhill rapidly the past few years. I called in my refill in a timely manner, and was told it would be ready the following afternoon. In the early aft, I phoned looking for it. I was advised it was unavailable and a fax was sent to dr looking for substitute. I could not wait for the medication and it's pure laziness to not pick up the phone and call on a Friday before a long weekend. Lawton's had it in stock and filled it within a couple of hours.

Firstly, one of the sales associates in the Beauty department was lovely. She was bright and seemed eager to help. Wish I got their name. Went to go return something 3 hours later, very unfortunate she was not there because the two staff at the beauty counter looked at me with three heads when trying to return my item. I asked them if I could try some way to return it, unopened, even the plastic was still on it. They gave me dirty looks and slid the box back to me like my hands were full of some radioactive material. Anyways, not upset at policy, upset with the poor customer service. Disappointing.

I love making reviews. She told me and i quote" go ahead". Guess she don't care of the reputation of shoppers.I go there all the time but not anymore. Purchased a wireless charging pad because i was in a bind. It said on the box that it was fast charging. The whole thing shined blue and when i woke up 5 hourse later, phone was not completely charged. Brought it to shoppers to get a refund and manager told me she can't except it because box was damaged. How are you suppose too open it without small tears in the pox. She didn't care and then came up with another excuse of saying that i bought it at another shoppers., after i told her where i bought it.Whole another story that she came up with. I hope this gets out too all military personnel. Don't shop at shoppers in Cole Harbour. Don't buy any electronics, they won't take it back.

I had the same experience with this pharmacy, dropped off a prescription for pick in a week. Went to pick it up and they had no record of it.Prescription is for one tablet for a dentist appointment, so not only is this an inconvenience for me, it also affects the dentist as I can't take the appointment without the medication.Attention Shoppers Customer Service doesn't bother posting your "canned" response, maybe if the comments were actually read customer service would improve.

Arrived the day after a prescription was supposed to be ready. Was told they didn't know why they didn't have it. Then told me I shouldn't use their automatic renewal system, and call in directly next time. Why do you have such an unreliable system? If it's garbage, trash it and get a new one. This is the 5th time the order wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, in the last 14 months. The order was for ostomy bags for my husband, who needed them tonight. They were supposed to be ready tonight.Update:They transferred the prescription to another location so I could pick up 1 box. Forest hills promised me they'd call 3 days later with the other box, and didn't. In case there were delivery issues, I gave them another 5 days. Called them, and they didn't have it ready. Turns out, they transferred the prescription going forward to the other location, which is wayyy out of my way. I'm done with your screw ups. We're switching to Lawton's.

I'm typically very happy with this location, however, my visit today was a bit of a let down. My family and I needed to get passport photos done. I called and spoke to customer service yesterday to find out if appointments were required and was told by the woman on the phone that appts weren't needed, but we needed to be sure that someone who could do them was on shift when we were coming in. She asked when we were looking to have them done and I told her "tomorrow". She said she was one of the staff members that could take the pictures, and that she was working until 2. She was also helpful enough to check the schedule and said that there would also be someone on after 2pm that could take the photos (until 9pm). I was very happy with the information and told her so. Fast forward to 1pm today. my family and I arrive at the location I had called last night, went to the main cash to inquire about getting the photos done, the girl working that cash said she'd have to page someone to do it. Great! The other cashier overheard our request, sighed very loudly, said "I'm the only one here who can do them, and I'm on till right now, soooo....". It was so obvious that she felt bothered by our request that my husband said "I guess we'll go elsewhere then". As i said at the beginning of this review, I'm typically happy with the service I receive at this location, but today, there was no service. I called in advance, spoke to someone who actually performs the service I was inquiring about and still got false information. Luckily, the Shoppers on Portland was more than happy to help us out. Very disappointing visit today.
