“The closest (so I guess my local) Sobeys. Have been going here for 4+ years. Seems like a typical example of the franchise. Layout makes sense and never takes long to find anything. Obviously busy at peak times but has never been so bad that it is impossible to navigate. Appears clean and have never noted spills or messes that were not being taken care of quickly. Stock is always organized and never just left out in general areas. Typically there is not staff on the floor if looking for help but are are easy enough to find and usually have a pleasant disposition. Usually enough cashiers open so that the lines are not too long and they appear to go at an average peace. At least one 15 items or less line and no self-checkout (can be good or bad depending on you perception). Usual parking situation (accessible spots at front) and store seems it would be easy enough to navigate if one had specific mobile needs. Also believe they have times booked for weekly sensory sensitive shopping but should call the location to confirm the day/time this occurs. Have gone in Sunday nights looking at the pre-made and bakery sections for reduced ("enjoy tonight") items and there is usually not lot of in this category (has been pasta selections available every time I have checked).”

“I come here specifically for staples like eggs, apples, carrots, beets, and bread. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would much rather support a smaller company than Sobeys or Superstore.”

“Great little spot! Has a ton of great products— cheap spices and bulk dried beans and grains— and the owner Patricia is amazing! A very active part of the community and very helpful. I highly recommend this spot!”

“One of my staples for grocery shopping. Similar to gateway in ways just closer to my house and way less busy which is a HUGE plus.Meats / deli items are mostly the big draw here. You can get some absolutely smoking deals. Check the website for promotional sales. It's updated regularly. However don't be surprised if you show up and see some deals that weren't online. The veggies / fruits can have some great sales as well. They're definitely hit or miss. Not my go to spot for this but I have definitely have had some good finds. The misc items like sauces, noodles, snacks etc are average and in some cases slightly more.I have one large grocery bag that I shop with regularly and usually fill every time out and at Kingswood I leave in the 50-70$ range. At the bigger mainstream stores the same bag costs me upwards of $130 so yah ive definitely been saving some money.”
