  I have generally had a very good experience shopping here - there is a decent selection of quality clothes at reasonable prices, as well as some more economical choices. Due to the boutique nature of the business size selection can be an issue, however they try to source missing sizes from their other locations.
  
  Overall the staff has been helpful, friendly and efficient. Special shoutout to Taylor, who is always friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond during my most recent shopping trip, making it a positive and stress free experience (I went twice during their tent sale June 2024 - her customer service is superb).
  
  I did have a negative experience in fall 2023 with the male manager at the time when I reached out about supporting a charity event. I didn’t have any expectations about my request, however I did expect him to communicate a decision as promised yet he never got back to me. When I went in to speak with him he was very dismissive. His attitude really turned me off and I actually stopped going in for quite a few months because of it.
  
  Don’t let that stop you from checking out this nice little boutique! They also have a good selection of men’s clothes and footwear.

  What a terrible experience! I purchased an item and paid the full amount. Several days went by without receiving a shipping confirmation. I sent a polite message inquiring about the shipping, only to receive a refund of my payment instead. When I called the store to ask about my order, a lady informed me that the item was not in stock and a refund would be issued. When I questioned why there was no email or apology, she abruptly hung up. Unbelievable! Would I recommend shopping at this store? Definitely not. It's a complete waste of time.

  Absolutely the worst experience ever - horrible customer service. They truly seem to not care at all if you ever come back. They should not be selling Arcteryx products if they do not have a clue about the warranty. Atmosphere was sooooo much easier to deal with and actually provided amazing customer service for Arcteryx warranty. I guess I will have to go to the Trail Shop but I hate trying to park on Quinpool.

  I was looking for a specific Canada Goose parka and they had it in stock. The store has a clean layout and a big selection of product. The young man who helped me was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the inventory they had on hand. Happy to shop there and will definitely go back.

  Went here to try on some Canada Goose jackets. Although they didn't have my size, the sale attendant was very friendly and did not rush me even though she was working by herself and it was rather busy. An enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back.

  There are a couple of items at Take It Outside you wont find anywhere else in Metro Halifax. Take a look and see if there is anything you like. The service is always good and helped me find the right Christmas present for my wife.

  Great little store with lots of variety of high quality clothing.I come here often to check out the selection of Yeti offerings to add to my growing collection.The staff here are excellent, and they knew their stuff. Real “downtown” feel to the store, which beats the big-box feeling 10 times out of 10.
