They needed more people to work there, my pickup was delayed by 25 minutes because they just kept working with people in front for all that time, They didn't even recognize that they would be delaying our pickup while we were standing there. Ended up delaying my pickup.

Excellent customer service all around. All staff during checkout we're friendly and eager to assist. I was taken aback at the friendliness of service and would suggest other businesses take their example! Check in was a bit more brisk, but efficient and smooth nonetheless.

August 8th, 2023U-Haul boxes are the perfect solution, unfortunately, the customer service is the worst.I reserved my U-Haul boxes in the middle of June, and I had everything settled with the dates. At the begging of July, I called to confirm everything and the trouble began. The instructions for the delivery were a complete mess. The advisor made the corrections, but the date of the delivery was moved. Instead of receiving my boxes on the 2nd of August, they moved them to the 5th.On the 5th of August, I called again to ask about my boxes, and the answer was sorry we had to move the delivery till the 7th.Of course, the delay in the delivery causes discomfort, we were without a bed and a sit for almost 3 weeks, but the biggest matter is about time. My wife ask for days of vacation and my son came from Ottawa to help me. U-Haul doesn't care about it. What if I paid for movers to help me? Do I lose the money?Finally, I received my boxes yesterday.In conclusion, call all the time until you get your delivery.I'm waiting to receive the 50 daily dollars they promise for receiving my staff late. I think is fair from the 2nd of August.

I have rented a Uhaul from this location in conjunction with the Ikea Dartmouth, on two separate occasions. Everyone is always very kind. Due to unforeseen obligations, and without going into too much detail my Uhaul reservation needed to be extended and modified. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to KIM (and those she spoke with on the telephone) for working her magic and allowing me to drive the Uhaul between provinces when vehicles were in high demand and limited in size. Thank you! Thank you!

customer service was lacking, 3 guys in the office standing around chatting, while the girl behind the counter rushed me through the sale. No one showed me where the truck was nor did anyone inspect the truck with me. I was informed that the truck had a full tankl of gass, it did not it was 3/4 full.

Very good. However, the vehicle I rented did have a check engine light lit up, which didn't affect performance of the van, but I wasn't made aware of it. I did report it to the technician when I returned the vehicle.Also, it would be useful if the customer could pre-calculate what the final charge for the rental, plus charge for kilometres, would be.Otherwise, my experience with U-Haul was great, I will be using U-Haul again soon.

Terribly disorganized customer service. For example, the CSR was going to charge me $500+ when my reservation was quoted at $380. If I had not been paying attention, I would've been ripped off. Will update my review regarding the return soon.

Pretty good, I would rent from them again. There were some differences between my online reservation and what happened in person that were mostly corrected.

2nd time I rent a truck there and once again I had a good experience. Friendly and quick staff. No issues at all. Returning process was quite smooth as well.

I was there today and rented a trailer last minute. The customer service was spectacular! I honestly had a great time chatting with the staff who were very friendly and extremely helpful. I didn't catch the name of the employee that served me (I picked up the trailer at 2 and returned it at 4) but he was great!

I had two trailer hitches installed, one for a Tesla Model S and one for a Subaru WRX. I was particularly impressed with how well they put a 1 1/4" hitch on the Tesla. Other installers in the city were reluctant to take it on and were quoting me high prices because of the anticipated labour charge but U-Haul had specific instructions for this hitch and a cost that was lower than I was quoted elsewhere. Note that I went for a traditional hitch instead of an Eco Hidden Hitch.

Constantly switch pickup locations for trailers and waste the time of customers. Book a trailer for Halifax and need to cross the bridge? Oh darn you need to head all the way back to Dartmouth and not have time to pick up your trailer. Uhaul in Nova Scotia is so inconsistent and awful to deal with.

After having been using using this U-Haul Storage location for more then 4 years, their amazing service is still evident. Their helpfulness with helping to deal with my unit even in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona was incredible. If anyone needs great service for all your moving or storage needs, I highly recommend this location!
