I want to like it here because we do not have many options for grocery in Eastern Passage. However, when you walk in the store smells REALLY bad due to the fried food counter. The meats also may contribute to the smell because they typically look old and I would never chance it. The prices are astronomical - so this is a very last resort if I wind up there.

Fresh is in the name.. technically- everything in the store was fresh at some point. I bought 2 packages of chicken wings…took them home and opened one package. They were a bit slimy and smelled off. I checked the packaging. They placed a new sticker over the old sticker to give them a new expiry date. This was done to both packages. I wasn’t long taking them back and getting a refund. I’ll drive the 8 or 10 kilometers to No Frills or Sobeys before I’d spend a nickel at Keizers .. 🤢 Would be nice to have a decent grocery store in Eastern Passage some day.

2 dried up pieces of chicken and 5 bananas came to almost $10.00. Most items in the store are not priced.

The shelves the further back in the store you go always seem to be empty. Produce and meat look like they are close to shelf life. Everything is more expensive than it should be. It was cheaper for me to drive to Portland St to get certain items than it was to shop at a store 10 minutes from the house. It is more of a convenience store than anything else. The majority of the staff are friendly, which is good.

Went there to check it out and I found that it smelled like a barn and is on the small side for sure. I will not shop there at all.

Bought shepherds pie for lunch and basically paid 10 bucks for mash potatoes! Maybe 2 tablespoons of meat! Put a comment on their Facebook page but they deleted it.

Because we don’t have a local grocery store this place will price gouge you. Do not buy anything here you will pay at least double the price for old and poor quality!

Worst customer service ever. Just left there this evening at 5:48 pm after the young guy working the counter gave me a rude tone then slammed the debit machine down on the counter. When I asked if I did something wrong he said “no I’m waiting to go on break”. Terrible experience. :(
