Everyone may have their own opinions when it comes to customer service but those who had a negative experience must have been dealing with a different CarStar than I did. Lisa and her team were fantastic to deal with at every turn. She communicated promptly, addressed all my questions and concerns, and went above and beyond to ensure my family and I were well taken care of.
This location, and more specifically Lisa, dealt with the rental company, my insurance company, as well as local automotive repair shops all in the name of ensuring our vehicle was returned back to the state it had been before my wife was in an accident.
Further, when there was an issue with Toyota sending the incorrect parts and delaying the repair Lisa even reached out to the insurance company for me to ensure our rental coverage was extended. She also helped me deal with issues with the insurance company when my claims adjuster dropped the ball and our rental coverage extension was being declined.
I have dealt with this CarStar location on multiple occasions and they have always been great to deal with and treated me fairly. Being professional and polite is a two-way street and, in my opinion Lisa has never been difficult to deal with. I would suggest that if people have had an issue with how the staff at CarStar treated them, it was more so a case of how you first treated Lisa and her team.

Carstar Elmsdale is a very professional and friendly place to take your car , Lisa and her staff are amazing and go above and beyond for their customers - always excellent service , I would recommend to anyone , great all around

Highly recommend CarStar here in Elmsdale!Unfortunate incident that led our car to end up here but we were in the best of hands.Lisa at the front desk was not only compassionate for our situation but also extremely helpful.Lisa kept us up to date on the status of our vehicle throughout the entire process.When our insurance company was unable to retrieve a rental within a reasonable time, Lisa was there to help and we were back on the road in no time.Thank you to Lisa and the amazing team at CarStar!

IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS ANY TYPE OF PAINT WARRANTY, DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE as their work will void it.CARSTAR repaired my vehicle, less than 2 years later their work (and only their work) rusted out. They honored their warranty the first time, but now that their work (and only their work) has rusted out a 2nd time, they turn their back on their own shoddy workmanship.THEIR WARRANTY IS A LIE, THEIR WORK will rust out WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY

Never recommend this shop to anyone. The customer dealing is very unsatisfactory and the vehicle repair work is below average.I wonder how insurance company take cars to such workshops.Lots of panel gaps and fitment issues....

This was my first experience using CarStar and I was beyond impressed. The turnaround for repair was quick and thorough. Attentive, friendly staff kept in frequent contact during the entire repair/rental process and provided up-to-date information. My Van was even detailed clean when the repair was completed! As a Mom with young kids, this was the cherry on top!

Do the universe a favour and avoid this place at all costs. My vehicle sat outside for 6 days; back window is smashed and they half covered the opening with plastic. The shop “manager” Lisa; blatantly lied to me stating it never sat outside and was covered with “crash wrap”. I have photos; the vehicle was outside; uncovered and exposed to rain, snow and dust. “Lisa” proceeded to hang up on me when presented with this info and refused to do the authorized work. Terrible customer service; horrendous business model. A place that would be shuttered if not for preferred service contracts with insurers.
