Red Cross doesn't help anybody... I was denied & LIED to for financial relief during Fiona. I was told by the staff member on the phone from the call center that I would be getting the relief.. literally told me on the phone I was going to get 2 more e-mails... One with a pin then a transfer... Nothing ever came called them back they closed my file and did not even notify me but lied to my face repeatedly ...My work was canceled for the week because we we're in state of emergency & NS government shutdown most of the schools. I don't get paid if I don't work & the government shutdown my place of work for the week where I had 4 days work scheduled. I did not have EI benefits at the time either. So, I sat there broke and worse off than I was before. THANKS REDCROSS ?FOR NOTHING.. didn't even help the majority of people here in need. Typical redcross behavior... Raise money then don't hand it out to those whom are in need the most.JB posted it the best they denied a lot of people without giving any reason for the denial. Just straight up no, nope, you don't qualify. No reason for the decision that was given either. No basis nothing. Just a nope you don't matter. THANKS REDCROSS ? lawl
