Do not I repeat, Do Not get Home Depot to install tile. There pro installers did this job. Broken tile, missing grout and refuse to fix it. This is a nightmare I have been dealing with since March. Pro installers “lol” refuse to fix there mess. I have been dealing with head girl in Ontario who is not offering any solution except me finding my own tile guy to fix it.
This is a big store with a reputation to uphold. My kitchen is still tore apart and it’s coming on Christmas. 9 months, 9 months living with this disaster waiting for it to be fixed. Still not fixed and Christmas is a month away.
So disappointed in this whole ordeal and I am not the only one that had bad tile work done. Others have been fixed why isn’t mine.

Lots of stock to choose from. Sometimes the employees can be hard to find for help to look for something. Products usually hold up well. Employees are helpful when found lol. Appliances have to be shipped in and most are not that reliable specifically General electric and their by companies(armana, moffatt). Very cheaply made and most times dont last 3 years befote needing parts, specifically their washers. Boards, lid locks, front load seals, belts, water level sensors, load sensors. Anything else but appliances i will buy there.

Dale at Home Depot in Sydney ns was very knowledgeable and helpful when choosing a storm door and took the time to show us the video for installation ..delivery arrived the next day by a very friendly young man .thank you so much.

We were in the store shopping, bought items that they keep locked up so we paid for them and told 2 workers that we still had more shopping to do. We kept shopping and suddenly we were approached by two women. One demanding we empty our bag. She was so ignorant ..
Forced us to empty our bags ..would not
say why just repeatedly ordering us to empty oir bag and upon realizing we didn't steal our items.
She said you're not allowed to keep shopping with your parcel. The lady behind her claimed she was the manager..that basically that authorized her to be so rude
I told her there's a nicer way to speak...she was so rude and at one point they were actually laughing. I told her that her behavior is not ok. She tried to apologize after realizing we didn't steal anything. I buy all my appliances there. I buy all my home renos there
Completely unacceptable behavior and I have never been treated so poorly in a retail store ever. I'll never shop there again. Sydney store cape Breton.

Hardware, plumbing, electrical, wood, paint, good selection of washer/dryers, fridges/stoves etc.. Rentals. Just about everything a hone DIYer would need. Some good staff, helpful once you find someone, its just the finding. Price in sine items higher than business more dedicated to contractors, professionals. Business has always been reasonable with returns. Good service if you need something carried out.

Large selection of anything "home". Prices are decent, considering. Store is always clean and it's usually pretty easy to find someone for assistance.
