I’ve tried for over six months to open a business account at this branch, and it seems as though it’s been mishandled in every possible way. Also impossible to get a hold of staff. The general line never picks up. Left multiple messages and dealt with multiple people at the branch. Six months on still have an unuseable account situation with no support offered. Try your local credit union.

Disgusting, dirty, run down, poverty stricken, smelly, decade overdue of a overhaul. I can't breathe within this establishment. Going to have to switch my banking provider.

You have to call weeks in advance to make an appointment to open bank accounts, mortgages or anything else you need to see REAL people for. When you do call, you will likely have to leave a message for a call back because no one ever answers the phone. Bank fees are quite high, even for a smart account.Wait times can be quite long.. depending on the day & time you are in line at the teller. I guess they have let a lot of the staff go... since there is usually only one or two people working on any given day. The open hours make it very difficult for people who work Monday-Friday to access bank services. 20 years ago when I first opened my accounts with Cibc, they were great. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable staff, short wait times, didn't require appointments to open new accounts...things are different now.The world has become automated, & a lot of bank services are only accessible online or by making an appointment(which could be 2-3 weeks from when you needed it????) With less staff working IN the actual physical bank, they should have at least been able to lower bank fees...

Not always the most eager to help, unfortunately.
