We visit Halifax often and love stopping by this store. It has great new stuff every time. The staff are so inviting and helpful. This is the place to find new little and big treasures. A must to visit.

I travel to Halifax two or three times a year and 31 Westgate is always on my list of places to visit just to see what's new. The inventory of decorative items is impressive and there is a very real sense that each piece is curated. Someone is doing a lot of travelling to put together this kind of collection. If you're looking for a signature piece of furniture to anchor your decor or just a single, small item as a unique and desirable gift, this is the best place to go.

Never felt so unwelcomed in a store in NS. It felt snobby, and pretentious. They did not acknowledged us, and just talked to each other instead. Sure, they have some fancy things, and I was ready to buy a furniture piece I saw on their webpage. Unfortunatelly, I am not coming back because I believe the service did not match the price/quality of goods. Also, some pieces are overpriced. Maybe they just thought we were not worth their time? Whatever it was, I did not feel welcome, maybe it was just a bad day and I am wrong?? Nonetheless, I will skip this one next time and go straight to their neighboors - the art gallery - who were amazing to us.

Bought a number of things over the years here. Certainly have the nicest products in Halifax. Prices are high but generally reflective of the quality of products they sell.

I was pretty disanointed with the service. I was advised they had a product I was interested in, and then a week later, all of a sudden, that product is not available because there is a high value client that is interested in it. Well, won't be shopping there...

If cost isn't a factor you will not find better more interesting quality light fixtures east of Montreal. Cool RL wallpaper retailer too. Courteous attentive staff. Parking can be tricky due to location.
