“A cute, little gift shop that sells locally made art prints, pottery, jewelry and other products. The staff there was very polite and welcoming to visitors, and the space is filled with many interesting goods. It was a 10-15 minutes of browsing well spent, and I'd recommend seeing Made in the Maritimes Artisan Boutique Hydrostone to anybody visiting Halifax!”

“Visited last Saturday afternoon and spent way longer than planned wandering through the Nova Scotia folk art collection, especially the Maud Lewis house, which is tiny but genuinely moving in person. The staff at the front desk were happy to point out which galleries had rotating exhibits that week, which made the visit feel less like wandering blind. There is a nice view over the harbor from the upper floor windows that is worth pausing for with a coffee from the little cafe downstairs. Parking nearby was easier than expected for a weekend afternoon, and the whole place had a relaxed, unrushed atmosphere that made it a perfect way to spend a few hours exploring the city.”
