I have been a customer of BMO since the 1990s. Of all the branches I have dealt with across Canada in that time, this is my favorite. The staff are the most competent, and can solve problems that other branches have failed at. They are particularly strong at dealing with international issues because they have international staff and international clients.I will endeavor to do all my future banking with this branch.

I used the ATM at this branch when I visited Halifax in September of 2002.It worked fine.The receipt looked very nice too — well-formatted.

I went there for four visits to change the account from which credit line installments are withdrawn, to have the money withdrawn from my personal account rather than business joint account. Four times and still the issue didn't get resolved, everytime I met a new staff member that assured me that the issue was fixed, and then when the following payment was due it still got deducted from the joint account, which made my business partner frustrated. How many times are required to fix such a trivial issue ???

The staff at the front desk is lack of training, I did not receive proper solution and answer every time when I was asking them. They didn’t know what is the answer, why they are not asking someone at the office, is that really difficult? I will switch another bank account, and never using the BMO bank card. The customer service is too difficult to communicate, I think I am the person who serve them?

my experience was horrible because on the website it asks me to go get the card, without needing to make an appointment. and then I made an appointment and it was scheduled between 11 to 12. so I arrived at 11:20 and they didn't want to answer me. saying that someone would arrive at 12 pm and could not answer. however I stayed there 20 minutes and no one arrived. bad and poor service.

I needed to make a large transaction so I wanted to call them to make sure the bank would process my request. The automated response said it would be a 40 minute wait before they could answer. This is totally unacceptable. They're making huge profits but they won't even maintain a sensible level of customer service. This is insulting. And also, I had tried calling before this and did manage to get through but the rep was having difficulty with their system and said they were transferring me to another rep, but instead they dropped my call. They don't oven deserve the 1 star this site forces me to give them.
