Went to Canada Computers to build a new workstation PC. Expected that the techs there could build me a PC in which all of the parts were compatible and would work together as expected. This was not the case.In the end, I wound up with components that wouldn't work together.Called, and they said, "sorry, we'll refund the incompatible parts, but that's it". I said something to the effect of "I bought this as a package that you guys built. It doesn't work, so I would like to start over" (as if to say, I wouldn't have chosen this package at all - I'd have chosen all different components, had i known the parts were incompatible). They basically gave me the option which was EASIEST FOR THEM (refund only 1 or two parts), and not what was BEST FOR THE CUSTOMER.I hope Canada Computers realizes that ALL THEY HAVE GOING FOR THEM is the tech support/knowledge in-store, and they FAILED MISERABLY on that, for me. We can buy PC parts for cheaper online any time, any day, so if they aren't offering top notch tech advice, then they have no competitive edge anymore.

I reserved a motherboard there a few weeks ago, the staff were very friendly even though I'm a PERV. Let me give that context: My reservation code for the product was "PERV49".....how do they know though? How?

The people that work here are great. I have walked in there a few times looking for something and every time they recommend the best. The people there really know their stuff and its very helpful.

I would have said perfect job, but I was followed around the store and harassed constantly watched the whole time. Every time I switched an isle, I got an "Are you buying anything?" from the female employee there. I was just browsing with a friend. I don't like the implication that I was stealing, I was looking at computer cases. Where was I going to fit the case?? Up my rear? 1 star.To clarify, I am also a woman. I don't know the name of the employee, but she took my bags from me despite allowing other customers to walk around with theirs. Incredibly rude to me and my friend.

Travelled from PEI to pick up a smashing sale at the store in Halifax. Staff were decently and helpful, just wish we had a store closer to.me ?. Then again, that could be bad for my pocketbook ?

My favorite place to get all the techie stuff that I need. Way better than Bestbuy. A lot of selection even for the hard to get items.

Avoid buying anything from this store if you value being able to return damaged or defective parts. They inspect and test returned items with great scrutiny looking for any reason to deny an exchange or return.I purchased an expensive power supply but my PC wouldn't boot with it. After many hours of troubleshooting I finally decided to test the cables with a multimeter. It turns out one of the cables was defective. Upon return to the store they tested the cable and agreed that it was indeed defective. But after inspecting the cables they said a tiny plastic clip was broken on the cable and refused the exchange - they wouldn't even replace the defective cable. He may as well as used a magnifying glass as he was so intent on finding something to deny me service. Note that this piece of plastic was inconsequential to the defective cable (which was headed to the garbage can anyway), nor did I break anything myself ... but they were quick to place the blame on me and send me packing. So save yourself the headache and don't buy anything from this place. It's not like their prices are any better than elsewhere anyway. Customer service is clearly not on their priority list. This is not like returning a defective item to Costco, Amazon or Walmart, or almost any other store for that matter.Another thing I’ve noticed is they never answer the phone. It’s very frustrating trying to call them for hours and hours and nobody ever picks up.The customer does not come first here - you come last.

Do not shop here just order online. Purchased a Ican chair lasted about 6 months and fell apart. Bought a Ican Desk for $300 and it had pieces that did not fit, went to take it back and tall red hair guy said it was final sale even know pieces did not fit and it did not say on receipt it was final sale nor where we told that. Just shop online for better quality and service and stay tuned for my YouTube reviews on NS_rob

I was pretty happy they would price match on a computer monitor that was cheaper on amazon as I would prefer to support local retail, however, 40 days(!!!) after purchasing the monitor there are dead pixels. I called to see if I could exchange it and they said no because it passed the 30 days for return. Poor service. Now I am stuck with a $300+ monitor with dead pixels (which is the entire reason I went to buy this monitor in the first place).Had I just ordered on Amazon, they would have just replaced it or accepted it back. Consider yourself warned if you buy from here. I avoided the negative reviews and now Im paying for it. They are not willing to help you. Avoid this place at all costs and buy from someplace that has a more reputable customer service. The most annoying part about this is that they could just replace this monitor and send the defective one back to LG and they just won't. It's their loss because I buy a lot of electronics for my business and I will bring my business elsewhere.

I had my laptop locked with microsoft account. Called multiples stores all were talking about resetting it and charging insane amount of money. But I went to Canada Computers and they helped to unlock my laptop within five minutes. I was so glad to choose them and unlocking my laptop. Thanks. Highly recommended.
